Purchased original in November 2020 and while cut it produced was passable it took some time to achieve it. I was willing to love with that though. Not absolute zero/shiny bald but better than 0.5mm in most other clippers.First unit last just over 6 months then had a blade just fall out after operation and it wasn't used aggressively/forcefully.Shaver shop swapped it out without issue so fair play to them. But two months later the replacement has just completely packed it in. After powering up blades made a grinding sound and it just cut out completely. Have tried to re-charge battery twice but it simply won't operate.Very disappointed and await advice on how to get credit/refund while in lockdown. Will not be getting a third unit

I was gifted one of these for my birthday. If used every day, it wasn't too bad although it rarely gets all the hair, especially just above your ears. If the hair is too long, you'll suffer 3rd degree razor rash well before the hair is cut. Anyway, the first one because so useless that I binned it. The my wife buys me a replacement one. The second one was worse than the first one. Even with a fully charged battery, it fails to start. I have to remove the head/foils, start the thing up, let it run for a minute or so before replacing the head. Still though, it stops and starts as soon as I apply any pressure to it. I'm over it.

I contacted Remington again who took ages to send me a replacement. I got it yesterday with the shaver mechanical head detached to the main body in the box. The product is not working. No motor, nothing. Never again! I spent hard earned money on this, thanks alot!!

Good afternoon,I have purchased this shaver about a month ago and really really enjoy the product. I had somewhat of a scare this morning however!I got about halfway through my shave when the battery died! This is the first time I've had to recharge the device, I plug it in and go to keep shaving but found that you can't use the product while being charged! I had a meeting to attend and didn't want to rock the half shaved half hair look!For future products can you please make the product usable while being charged! That would save some embarrassment on my behalf!Apart from that I love it!

Before I normally chip my head then shave it with my old clippers with this new Remington series no need I used and took every bit of hair off very sharp no need to shave my head again . Plus I had a little stubble so thought I’ll try so did my face as well very like my Remington face shaver works a treat 2 in 1 product for me . Only thing it’s a euro plug so need to get adapter but only use for charging . The hair collects in the shaver head so no more running down your neck onto the floor . Simply unclip the head and empty. Cuts very well and lasts for about four cuts before it needs cleaning. Hair can not be to long as won't cut if it is. Shaver switches itself off when it needs cleaning. Here is where the fault comes in. It has a built-in safety mode. Plug it in , green light goes on . Count to 20 then remove plug. Do this 3- 5 times to reset the safety mode. Once out of safetyofe charge as needed. It's a annoying feature. But once you work out this quirky mode. It's easy to deal with. If you haven't any patience, don't buy it.

I feel like the whole head will snap when using it, the blades are not actually well spaced so you will miss bits unless you pass over your head multiple times, the flexible head seems to work okay to a point but doesn't work on the tighter curves of the head, I can't imagine getting full contact on this by anyone with a small head, I'm about a medium and there are some places where I struggle to get contact even with three blades. The runtime is only 60 minutes and that would be fine if you were sure the shave would only take <5 minutes each time but multiple passes are definitely required. The little trimmer at the back is terrible, you need to make sure it doesn't fold back down on itself. Even when it does manage to clip the hairs at the top of the beard after getting it in the right place it is just unwieldy and uncomfortable to use due to the shape of the handle.
I shave my head weekly so always look for a good reliable, comfortable shaver. This shaver is all ov those and more! The five blades cut shaving time to a minimal which is perfect for me. The blades move to your head which give a super close and comfortable shave that doest irritate Mt skin and lasts for days before hair starts to grow back. Once fully charged the shaver lasts for ages, much more efficient than any of my previous shavers. The design Is modern and sleek and extremely comfortable to handle. I'd highly recommend this shaver

I previously used a different branded head shaver which is also very good but it took a fair amount of time to shave bald. This shaver looks more like a Skullshaver as it has the large head with five blades. The main differences are reliability. As you would expect from Remington it is not a cheap plastic unit and the rotary heads don’t fall off when cleaning under the tap. And it doesn’t stop working after a month. The only drawback is the battery life. It is about 25-30m but expected longer charging doesn’t take long and you get a good 5m whilst on the red. Works best if you use every day but fine for every two days. I used other brand of head shavers for many years and I purchased this Rimington head shaver from this Australian family. @ It is amazingly smooth and clean shave. @ Highly recommend this shaver. No more stress every morning when I grab the shaver (as I had a lot of stress feeling to shaving my head every morning with other brand of shavers, it's big job every morning lol) I am going to order a blade only as they sell partly because the blade itself is the one worn-out quickly. Hopefully they can sell it separately at reasonably price. Cheers.
