Finally a good beard trimmerI have been scouring Amazon for a good quality cheap beard trimmer and this is exactly what I was looking for! I prefer to have a clean shave but don't like using a razer, so a beard trimmer without any plastic extension pieces is exactly what I use to get as close to the cleanly shaven look as possible. I don't mind a bit of stubble. This product allows me to trim as close as possible, like when you ask for a "zero on the sides" at the barber's for your haircut. I cannot attest to the attachment provided, but it seems like a good option for those who prefer to have a well-kept longer beard. Not even a nick! The blade does heat up though, but only towards the end of the shaving process. I charged it up to the max and have used to four times so far and each time is as good as the first. For this price, its a no-brainer really.

I like this product, in fact its the second one I have purchased. Its light and convenient and does the job effectively and efficiently. There is however what I will call a major issue. The comb tines can break off. This happened to the first one I owned and it makes it difficult to use accurately. I tried all the usual parts suppliers, but they all told me Remington do not sell the combs as spare parts. This is more than just disappointing, its wasteful of scarce world resources, in my humble opinion. Perhaps I am wrong and new combs are available, if so please let me know.

This is a great trimmer. Easy to hold and use. Seemed to be fully charged on arrival so it worked straight away. Works really well and the dial to adjust the length of the trimmer is great. Plus you can easily remove the guard to get a very close shave. Couple of minor negatives. As others have said, theres no charger stand or any way to store it standing. Plus, although the dial has numbers against it they're practically unreadable as they are tiny. All in all though it's a great piece of kit. Would make a nice gift too.

I bought this trimmer as a replacement for my ~4-year old Philips trimmer which I used once or twice a week, alongside a shaver. I usually hover between clean shaven & long-stubble, so I use this trimmer about twice a week. Also, I didn't need to look at the instructions (hence the 'Good' rating on that). The box it came in, however, is one of the most infuriating things I've ever opened. The Pros:- It looks nice, and feels good quality. Nice & easy to use, too.- The wheel at the front is really easy to use to push the trimmer up or down, depending on how long you want it.- At the moment, 2 is the highest I use which leaves a nice tidy stubble. It cuts very easily and is mostly even. The pop-up is OK.- Battery light indicator, which I have not had before! It cuts very easily and is mostly even. The pop-up is OK.- Battery light indicator, which I have not had before! Had it about 3 weeks and haven't charged yet.The Cons:- Because of its design, you have to hold the shaver upside down; i.e. the wheel facing down. For me, at least, this results in my stubble flying all over the sink and behind it as there is no guard other than the plastic top covering the blade.- The ON/OFF slider is sunken into the Trimmer, and is not as easy to grip as it looks; it can be a bit tricky to turn on and off with one hand which, though a small issue, is still annoying.- The pop-up trimmer on the back slides up with your thumb, but will not do so unless you remove the plastic topper on the main trimmer. It's easy enough to remove, but my Philips shaver doesn't need anything removing.- The pop-up trimmer is also a bit tricky to close with one hand; it slides back down, but can catch on your thumb which again is annoying.Overall, I'd say it's a great trimmer for me as I don't need to shave everyday, and it cuts very well considering I keep my facial hair farily short. I can't comment on the battery life or charging yet, but it has lasted me well so far. If, in a year or two, the battery life diminishes, it's cheap enough that I wouldn't hesitate to just buy another one.
I know it’s a trimmer but I’m a woman I don’t have a beard lol so I use it on my head. The battery life is amazing last me a good half hour. Instructions were straight forward. Numbers are visible to show how much inch I want to shave off my head. I was able to give myself a nice face using level 4. The blade is spectacular, that was able to give myself a nice line up. Glad I chose this brand. The size of this trimmer is good and not heavy at all also the vibration is not over powering in your hands even though the sound is a tad bit load. However the price I could have gotten for cheaper else where. X
I have owned this model of beard trimmer (MB320C) for nearly 30 years and had to replace it this week after dropping and breaking it. Had I not done this, I suspect it would’ve continued to work for many more years to come. So, with what did I replace it? Exactly the same again of course! In these times of the ‘throw away culture’, it is good to own and use a product that works flawlessly long beyond what is usually expected. It’s never gone wrong, the blades are always sharp and is simplicity itself to use. What more could anyone ask for? Sure other brands and models have extra gadgets and gizmos, but that invariably means there’s more to go wrong and they aren’t as good value for money. After all. it’s only beard trimming/shaping and this does that perfectly.I ... MoreI have owned this model of beard trimmer (MB320C) for nearly 30 years and had to replace it this week after dropping and breaking it. I have had many beard trimmers over the years, and although they were all "name brands" none of them were very good, and never seemed to charge properly, and then ultimately broke within a few months. I just assumed that all bears trimmers were like this. I recently needed to purchase a new one, and looked through many different ones on offer, until I read the reviews on this one. It looked good and do I thought I would give it a try, and I have to say I'm so glad I did. This has to be the best beard trimmer on the market. Sleek design, easy to use, and 12 different lengths to choose from. If this ever broke or got lost, I would immediately buy a new one, that's how much I like it. 10/10
Bought as a replacement for an old (4-5 years old) version of the same model, whose battery was dying. The new machine is pretty much identical and still works very well. The only drawbacks are the dial showing the length is tiny, even under the lens, and the adaptor supplied is a standard UK 3 pin which means that the machine needs to be charged outside before being taken into the bathroom to use. Since I keep the machine in the bathroom cabinet, this can be a pain. An adaptor running off the shaver socket would be a definite plus (like Braun do).
my first machine is still working after several years of use but the comb was damaged inadvertently. a replacement comb was almost half the cost of a new machine and so I was pleased to find that the machine was still available. it's well designed and manufactured shaving tool and the build quality hasn't been compromised. So many things these days skimp on materials. This design and build has not changed over the last 10 years or so.
