I cannot believe I have had this product for so long and just started to use it! This was an item in a Whole Foods beauty bag that I buy every year. I used it not expecting much since most all natural beauty products imo don't do anything and tend to make things super dry. This little serum is magic! It does have a slight acv smell but it wasn't that bad and you don't smell it when your hair is dry. I used just normal shampoo and conditioner in the shower in addition to this and when I went to blow dry my hair I just used a regular heat protectant spray. My hair looked and felt really good. I have dyed blonde damaged fine hair and this did wonders. Would have never found or tried this product if it weren't in the beauty bag. Apply on wet hair in the scalp from roots to tip and usher a silicone brush to massage the serum to your hair. When Purchasing the product I didn't really know what to expect- but I was pleasantly surprised. The applicator is very easy to use and apple cider vinegar is actually a great ingredient for cleansing the scalp. I've used it a few times before shampooing and I always feel refreshed when I use it. My hair is very greasy (a day after I wash it it's greasy) so using this product as prep leaves my hair cleaner. I recommend using this product 1-2 times a week (I think using it more would be irritating to the scalp). Highly recommend!
I bought this product about two months ago when I started my hair wash journey (from every day to twice a week.) this product hands down has made a huge difference in my once dry itchy oily scalp and has literally transformed my scalp to being clean and well nourished. Also it has made my hair so soft and smell amazing. What could be better! It’s a must have!
Honestly the smell is pretty strong-I don’t really mind it but it might be irritating for other people. It didn’t really work for me and I used the entire line including shampoo, conditioner and scalp serum. I have really itchy hair and it made my hair itch even more. It was pretty irritating to my scalp and made my hair look really weighed down. I’d recommend people to look at the ingredient list and see whether it fits which ingredients will be good for you. Overall 1.5/5. The only positive point is that it’s pretty cheap.
I have been a fan of RENPURE hair products for over a decade. Lately, due to what I saw as a drop in their quality, I strayed. However, I gave them another chance when I saw their APPLE CIDER line. When I saw the serum, I jumped to get it and was nearly completely pleased. The 1star deduction for the “nearly” was based on the false claim of a “SERUM”. Serum is thick, not watery. A light scent doesn’t overpower your regular perfume, which is something every other hair product should try to achieve. I’ll be back!
