Bought these for my Yeti Lunch Ride before I went to Purgatory. Iβm long waisted and with the stock bars I always felt like I was going to go over the bars. Put the 35mm on and instantly felt like my old BMX days. For me itβs comfortable for others a bit to much rise. Oh yeah Purgatory is amazing, if you have a chance Go.

Buy aluminum. Too many reasons concerning carbon fiber that I'd avoid the upcharge for carbon fiber. Any nick or chip or scratch and you've basically weakened the carbon fiber structure. Trust me, I've done a warranty claim via Renthal. Renthal backs their products, but it's tough to get a claim on Renthal Carbon Fiber Bars. Aluminum, no problems! Sure, there's haters that will dispute the carbon fiber thing, but read the literature, Aluminum is a better choice. Research, it's called imperical research people...

I've always preferred Renthal bars on my MX bikes. Now I prefer their bends for MTB use as well. I don't like the back sweep of all the other bar companies. Elbows up works. Their aluminum bars were great for XC but too much vibration for DH. These carbon bars are noticeably better on my hands. Two complaints - 1. I wish they would have advertised not to use a plumbers tube cutter on carbon bars. Be very meticulous with a hacksaw. 2. I much prefer an all gold bar like the previous special edition. Yes, I would suggest buying these. I have 20 and 40 mm rise and am very pleased.

This thing is carbon and is also light weight. The design of the handlebar matches well with Renthal's Apex stem. I am 6'2" and the length is perfect for my wing span (which I am too lazy to measure). The bar sort of reduces the vibrations, you will not feel the terrain as much. This for some is a con, but I like less vibration, maybe because it reduces the wrist discomfort. If you are looking for carbon handlebars, put this on top of your list.PROS: Lightweight, Easy To Install, Durable, Attractive DesignBEST USES: Mountain Biking, Upgrade
First time purchase from Bikeinn. Very impressed with the shipping time from Europe to USA. Also product was new in the original packaging as described. I will buy from them again for sure.
800mm 40mm riser: this bar was perfect for me @ 6β3β 230lbs with broad shoulders. Made the front end much livelier and easier to handle. Noticed less fatigue on longer rides, and felt great on my favorite parts of the mountain: the downhills. Jenson was so fast in processing and shipping this order, that I had all the parts dialed in for my next weekend ride
I bought a Santa Cruz Hightower which comes stock with flat bars. I am a big guy (6'4") and even with an XL frame the bars felt a tad low. The Renthal bars allowed me to dial up the height a little bit (I went with +30mm) without altering sweep too much. Body pisition feels a lot better now on the bike. As someone else indicated the bars have a grippy surface where they mount to the stem so no worries about slippage.I haven't crashed with the bars yet so can't comment on their durability but I expect them to be ok given the manufacturer.
Love these bars. Every new bike I get I put them on. Takes so much chatter out of my hands. Between these and the new Rockshox Buttercup tech I can go all day without arm fade.
Replaced my stock headset w the renthalβs. Made a significant difference with handling and dampening vibration, definitely would recommend
If youβre looking for the best DH bars out there, stop reading this review and just go buy Renthals.I donβt know how these guys do it (probably numerous years in the moto industry) but they have these bars dialed. Ergonomics are perfect, flex is perfect, weight is amazing and little things like the sand grip for the clamp just make it better.Give these bars a shot, you wonβt regret it
