If you set a motion detector alarm, it doesn't trigger the app to make an alarm sound. The camera itself starts to make an alarm sound.I would not suggest this for anyone planning to use it as a baby monitor.All around though, I'm happy with the purchase

Excellent camera that is not locked down and doesn’t require any cloud services to operate. ONVIF compatibility allows you to connect to it directly for DVR and other monitoring needs.
it's very smooth and captures all movement and works with 5G wifi.
First time using one of these cameras, and found it pretty simple to set up. Resolution is excellent and zoom works well. Sound quality leaves a little to be desired. Great price for what you get.
I would return this device. From my perspective, it's a pure failure. The firmware is only supporting reolink app viewer on PC or phone, no support for linux, NVRs or anything like that.The camera has Ethernet, but does not support PoE, so it has to be close to power socket anyhow.I would never buy this again :(

I bought three of these (E1-zoom) models. Overall they work OK for the price ($46 each). Setup was not difficult and I can login from local WiFi, remote WiFi or cell network. In fact I was easily able to live view from overseas. The image quality is good and the optical zoom, pan, tilt and manual focus override are all useful. Night vision for a short distance is acceptable. The playback feature works OK.The motorized movements are slow to respond and sometimes unpredictable, so getting the lens to end up at the right position takes some effort. The units pick up people motion but seem to also respond to plant movement, shadow/sunlight changes, etc. So many notices of movement end up being a nuisance. This camera is not wireless. It has to be plugged into electric.
