The game arrived on time and whilst I was given a notification to come and pick up a game that technically wasn't released until a couple of days later, this did not frustrate me really as I just took that as a techno. glitch. The game itself came in excellent condition.

Absolute Gem! This is the truest form of Re-make. Reliving the Absolute horror of Leon and the Granado, this version of Resident Evil 4 checks all the boxes for a nostalgic gameplay; but also provides enough new diffrences to make it feel like a brand new game.

If you enjoyed the Resident Evil 2 Remake; you will like this too. I thought the RE2 remake, while inferior to the original 1998 game in some ways, was an excellent reimagination of the source material. RE4 remake, while mechanically closer to the original 2005 game, is an excellent reinterpretation of a genre-defining classic. The RE2 and RE4 remakes are both far superior to the Resident Evil 3 Remake, which seemed half-baked in comparison. This remake also seems to amplify the survival horror elements of the original game. Performance on base PS4 is good, with no glaring technical issues.
