This mask can go about 3 months before changing it before the seal doesn’t seal as good. I only use cpap cleaning spray to clean my mask daily. I don’t recommend the air touch one with the foam. The foam will harden and discolored as you use it especially if any moisture comes in contact with the foam. I’m a side sleeper and I breathe through my mouth and nose so full face mask is recommended to me the seal of the mask holds up better and the pressure of the machine plays one of the major factors and also the tightness of the mask on your face will predict how long the mask lasts. I’ve spent money on almost every mask on the market. F20 airfit last me the longest and to me you get your money worth out of the mask. Which is around 54 dollars

I've had the same machine for over 12 years. My original machine was a champ and worked great the whole time. I didn't realize how much quieter the new machines are as compared to the older ones. The AirSense 11 is super user-friendly and I love checking my score every day on my phone! I purchased the heated hose and humidifier block off since I haven't used a humidifier in many years. When I first used it as a test I wasn't sure it was even on since the ramp up of the pressure was so light and I couldn't even hear the unit.My AHI is .67 on average from the first 9 nights. When I did my test 12+ years ago, my AHI was 77.

My dear friend the machine is quite easy to use and program if you know how to program if not the technician will show you how over the phone or you can look it up online yourself. Note I had the doctor send in the required documentation but I find out on my own the highest air pressure doesn’t have to be set at the highest setting possible set it half way that way if you have air leak or some type of sleep issue the pressure won’t be too high when you wake up your lung’s doesn’t feel like they are coming out of your chest or chest pain. Have questions call they will answer your questions. Better know now than regretting it later wishing that you should have asked. I never have any problems out of my machine for 3 years now. I have to follow federal guidelines since I work for a federal regulation job. It’s all about getting the right sleep than getting the wrong sleep and having health problems or getting migraines or headaches etc. i only have had this machine i had another machine that my insurance company recommended and paid for but i ended up having more problems with it from being defective and sending it back to manufacturer and going without until months later the machine is still not working properly that’s why I went with sleeplay with all my cpap supplies

Very quiet with the QuietAir elbow - first mask I've tried that doesn't bother me with noise or strong vents of air. The 360-degree swivel on the elbow is great because I can direct the hose upward towards the top of my head hang the hose on a hose hanger, which keeps it out of my way when I roll over in bed. I really like the clip connection ResMed uses for connecting their masks to the hoses - it's so much easier than friction fittings that other companies use. The magnet connectors for the headgear work well too. I don't have any leaks when sleeping on my side, and sometimes I'm even able to sleep on my stomach if I can get my bed pillow adjusted right. Mask lines aren't a problem for me, though my pressure is on the lower side. The only negatives are that I do ... MoreVery quiet with the QuietAir elbow - first mask I've tried that doesn't bother me with noise or strong vents of air. But that's not really any different from any other FFM I've tried.
The card-to-cloud machine is best for me because I'm not interested in springing for technology just to permit automatic data-transmission to a doctor that doesn't want it anyway. I use an app that reads the SD-card with my card-reader, and records my cpap therapy, presenting daily graphs of all the data (the same stuff the experts review.) With a little homework, I educate myself on what's going on. It's not rocket-science. I can then tweak the settings to optimize my therapy... and it's working great! I have only changed one setting since the doctor made the initial settings on my first machine (a resmed S7, followed by an S9) 20 years ago. A lot of cpap patients keep tabs on their own therapy this way.Furthermore, The AutoSet 10 is LESS noisy than the 11 (which ... MoreThe card-to-cloud machine is best for me because I'm not interested in springing for technology just to permit automatic data-transmission to a doctor that doesn't want it anyway. I don't use the humidifier function. Instead, I use a Vornado Evap40 room humidifier that only needs water every three days or so, therefore I don't have to mess with filling the cpap machine every night, and I wake up without dried out breathing passages. In fact, nothing in the whole room gets dried out either. I recommend this humidifier arrangement to all cpap users.
This was part of our first purchase at Sleeplay and until the order arrived I was a little on edge, wondering if it was "too good to be true." I received exactly what was advertised, quickly and at a very good price.**We decided to go with the Airsense 10 because of the value and reliability we know it represents--we've had one for many years, and because the 11 hasn't had universally good reviews. The heated tubing is really nice--wish we'd started getting that 10 years ago.I am extremely grateful to Sleeplay for the Medical/Military/First responder discount.Good on ya, Sleeplay!**I forgot--one of the extra tubes we ordered for a different Airsense 10 was the incorrect model. One quick call and a new one was shipped the next day.Sleeplay will be my first ... MoreThis was part of our first purchase at Sleeplay and until the order arrived I was a little on edge, wondering if it was "too good to be true." 1. The mask is somewhat uncomfortable and unpleasant to wear with the standard mask cushion. I upgraded or modified my order to a memory foam mask cushion and I would recommend the memory foam option hugely over the standard mask cushion.2. Nasal Bridge pain and redness occur from the mask, especially if it is applied too tightly for a prolonged period of time. I am having to add a gel nasal bridge device to my nose to avoid both redness and irritation which is somewhat of a disappointment. However, overall the mask is very nice and is comfortable to wear once you get used to it. On some nights, I do miss sleeping on my stomach which is impossible with this mask because the tubing terminates from the front of the mask and not on the top of the user's head. I took ... More1. On some nights, I do miss sleeping on my stomach which is impossible with this mask because the tubing terminates from the front of the mask and not on the top of the user's head. I took off a full star due to the above mentioned issues but I like the mask and will continue to use it daily. Finally, I have finally figured out that once you get the straps exactly were you want them all you have to do is detach the lower magnets and it is then very easy to remove and reapply with a near zero leak rate. I like wearing a sleep mask to block out the light as I am a 100% night shift worker and the mask is somewhat difficult to wear when also adding a face mask. In the colder months, the mask is sometimes difficult to have a sleep hat added on top of it or especially under it. I have converted to a thick hoodie as this seems to work better for me than a sleep hat. It would be nice if the mask had an included mask detach alarm because I sometimes take it off in my sleep and am not prompted to its removal. Additionally, it would be really nice if the mask had a way to add essential oils to breathe such as eucalyptus as the mask does have a plastic smell and taste to it. The smell fades daily but it is still noticeable which makes sense but it sometimes distracting.
As technology evolves most things get smaller and lighter . This 11 isn’t that much smaller than my ResMed S9. The new water chamber, your lucky if you get one night out of it if you like humidification and not wearing a mask that has the humid x system . Also the brown hose that comes with it is heavy and more rigid than the white clear hoses of past and in the mask adapters . When you are sleeping you feel the weight of the hose pulling on your face. That’s not comfortable. Just don’t understand who gave the green light on that decision . One thing I will say is it’s quiet . Not so much that it outweighs the others cons . Not thrilled with this . I might just go back to my ResMed S9 and use this as back up .
This whole cpap idea is new and scary for me. I hated the thought of having something on my face all night. My first mast was a full whole face mask. I couldn’t get a good seal, I was constantly taking it off to scratch an itch and I quite honestly wasn’t seeing any improvement in my sleep.I did some research and more importantly figured out how to measure for the right size. I landed on the Airfit20 and it has been incredible. The silicone is super soft, I hardly notice it’s there. I’m sleeping great and I’m getting a great seal all night. Waking up refreshed with plenty of energy. It’s been the perfect mask.
The mask was delivered quickly. I've never had an issue with ordering and shipping. The good:I liked the fact that it was bigger than a nasal mask, in that it didn't feel like it was plgging my nose. For the most part it was a decent mask. It is also pretty quiet, and there isn't a lot of air blowing out. I'm not even sure where the air overflow went to.The bad:It worked well when I laid on my side. When I laid on my back, it would leak at the corners of my mouth. I even had a few times where my CPAP machine turned off because of the leaking. It didn't matter how tight I had it. The mask wasn't wide enough to fully cover my mouth when I was relaxed all the way. Neutral:You will have to adjust the bottom straps, as you will have to loosen them to take it off. Every once in a while I would accidentally disconnect the hose connection when adjusting the mask. That connection is pretty nice for cleaning though.Washing:Kind of a pain. not only will you have to take off the head gear, but you probably will want to remove the protective cloth on the upper strap. It's kind of a pain to take them off and put them back on. Maybe other people just left them on.
