ResMed AirFit P30i Cushion Medium

very expensive considering that you have to always purchase a complete mask cushion instead of being able to purchase a filter/diffuser separately. This part of the mask becomes problematic long before the mask cushions become soft and no longer seal effectively.the filter/diffuser? gradually develops black marks opposite the inner surface perforations despite daily rinsing and air drying separately. It has not been possible to find out if this is trapped dust or mould. If mould then this filter/diffuser? needs frequent replacement unlike the Mask Cushion itself

I ordered this product as the ResMed AirFit N30i Cushion that came with my head gear seemed very fragile & one of the cushions was split when I got it.I decided I should have a spare on hand.However I find the ResMed AirFit N30i replacement cushion pictured above is harsh on my nose and I prefer the softer cushion.

Definitely Better

I had been using the N30i nasal cushion with my AirSense10, and endured a less than snug fit if I slept on my side. After trying the P10 nasal pillow on the AirMini and loving it, I realized I could get the similar P30i nasal pillow for my AirSense10. Now that I've been using it and have the freedom to sleep on my back or side without leakage, I'm sticking with the P30i nasal pillow!

Finally Found a Great Mask!

I have been using my APap machine for a year and a half and have had a major struggle adjusting to it especially finding a comfortable mask. I started on a nasal cushion which lasted two weeks because I felt like I was choking and couldn't breathe. I went to a full face mask for a year as a mouth breather which was hard and uncomfortable as a side sleeper always fighting with the hose too. It hurt the bridge of my nose, felt claustrophobic leaving me with acne even when cleaned daily and headaches. I switched to the AirFit F30i which was more comfortable but I couldn't get it to seal properly without tightening it to wear it really hurt and left marks and even then it wouldn't seal totally. I was getting desperate and thought there wouldn't be a solution at all, and I would have to stay with the hard full face mask. I was avoiding nasal pillows as a mouth breather; however, I thought I had no choices left but I decided to give it a try. My husband, who also uses a CPap ,encouraged me to try the pillows because what did I really have to lose. I am so glad I did. I ordered the AirFit P30i and it was the best decision ever. I get a great seal, low events, I now have been sleeping with my mouth closed, I don't have headaches, I don't wake up with a plugged left ear, and it is like wearing no mask. I can't believe it. It is so comfortable, and I wished I had tried it sooner.

I was excited at first,

I was excited at first, then after having to wait over a week I was over it. then finally received the head gear and nose pillows and it was the worst night sleep ever. I tried a second night and now almost 100.00 after discount sits in a drawer.. waste of money. I gave two stars only because others claim they are comfortable and work well. I have had the old nasal pillows for years. thought it was time to join the modern times. guess I was wrong.

Love it!

This is without a doubt the most comfortable pillow type mask I have ever used! I am a side sleeper that tends to move around a lot in my sleep and I have not had any issue with dislodging my mask and losing the seal. I was unsure about the top of the head hose attachment at first, but I am sold on it now. It doesn’t bind, and is much quieter than with the exhaust at my nose blowing on my covers. My wife loves it also saying I don’t sound like Darth Vader anymore!

I was having problems with rainout and I think it was from the extended tubing from AirFit N 20 and other mask: but I finally tried this AirFit P30i! No moisture and extremely happy with P30i. And my eyes are drying out from air leaking from bridge of my nose. Again extremely happy with P30i mask!!!

PLEASE BRING BACK MY RESMED SWIFT LT!

I had the perfect mask in the Swift LT, I got switched to the p30i which eliminated the "pivot" to the pillows which I really liked, they moved the exhaust to the top which fires into my headboard and is really loud! Sometimes if I'm too close to my headboard, it blocks the exhaust and I also get lots of "backfire" on my exhale. I prefer the exhaust on the front as it's more natural. I always slept great with the Swift LT, now I'm back to feeling sleepy after just a few hours of waking up and feel like my BP is going back up as well. I NEED THE SWIFT LT! If you have any, I'll stock up on them!

Worth the Price for a Good Night's Sleep

I wish these nasal pillows came with the ResMed AirFit N30i Nasal Mask, since the pillows that come with the mask can make me feel like I am suffocating as I move and my nostrils don't line up over the air holes or the plastic squeezes down. These nasal pillows are shaped so they stay in your nose and keep the air flow open and help reduce your mask shifting off. Although they are not inexpensive, these nasal pillows are worth it for a good, uninterrupted night's sleep. I have nice, big nostrils, so the Large size fits me best even being an Asian woman. The small and medium sizes have smaller air holes and closer together. You would really need a tiny nose for the small size.
