This kit dates way back to the mid 70's and has been through its various re-boxes and updates. So detail is good, but not great (Recessed panel lines, raised dials on cockpit dashboard) . If you're into scratch building its a great base to try out your skills. When painted and weathered it still looks great, but its not as easy going as more modern tool kits. So patience is needed.

Just like all Revell products, this is just another amazing model you can build. There's so much detail that goes into this and when its finished with the right paints it looks realistic and brilliant. It literally captors the WW2 German look.Amazing!!

I collect scale model military vehicles, aircraft, ships, etc. I don't have a fortune to spend, so I look for detailed products which are beautifully finished. I can't assemble or paint them any more, so it is important that they are properly painted with decals and a minimum of joint seams showing. I have been buying 21 Century Toys for a long time. A less complicated(but still well detailed) build, I bought this for my novice brother. We built together and the detail for a smaller model is very good. We were both pleased with the result and hope to buy the accompanying Spitfire soon.
Good build for all levels. Consists of 3 plastic sprues and further 1 set of clear plastic sprue for the canopy. 44 interesting decals supplied. Instruction manual is A4 size and in colour provides an easy to follow build process. The final 2 pages show in detail the decal layout as well as the painting guide with paint references for the messerschmitt. Very good price for the kit.Overall a very good and fun to build kit.
Haven't built it yet but it looks an interesting and fun build at a reasonable price. I look forward to adding it to my collection of WWll aircraft.
Excellent Revel Kit, Easier to build than the Skill Level 3 on the box would suggest.Did this with my son. we went off message and painted this as a RED BARON. Each to their own, eh?
Great me 109G10/u2 only down sides just a drop tank and no swastikas but worth it a super kit .
I'm a real fan of the 109 and I've built quite a few. This was a fiver on black Friday and if I'm honest I wasn't expecting much, especially as the kit dates back to 1979! BUT how wrong I was. Although the parts count is low the external detail is pretty good. Recessed panel lines I wasn't expecting. The interior is a bit sparse but for me is all about the paint and markings. It's a shame there only one decal scheme otherwise I'd have bought another. Great value, even at full price!
The newly reworked moulds Revell are using recently are simply magnificent. This builds up quickly and easily with little to no sign of the excess 'flash' some kits are prone to. Took a weekend to build this and got fantastic results but with a tiny bit more skill and patience than I possess I have no doubt this could be a display quality model anyone would be proud of. I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone regardless of skill level and expect them to end up with a great piece at the end.
