Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner - Blush

Really good liners for if you want something that will last all day without smudging or transferring. Are super creamy and pigmented. I don't need to really work it into the skin to get color payoff. These outlast a lot of the lipsticks I wear lol. I have two shades currently, Red Nude. Red, is the perfect red liner to go with bright red lipsticks or to wear underneath a gloss. Looks stunning with blue toned reds, but will also look good with warmer reds. Nude, is a pinky brown nude. Is a shade that works well with a lot of different nude lipsticks. I pair it with beige nudes, pink nudes and brown nudes. It literally looks beautiful with every nude lipstick I own.

I have probably 50 lip liners from all different kinds of brands and this one is my favorite!!! I love the shades mauve and nude. The formula is so easy to apply; it just glides on your skin. The staying power is reasonable…it doesn’t last all day with eating/talking/wearing a mask, but it will last a good portion of the day. I love that you don’t have to sharpen it as well! Best lip liner ever!!! (I also love NYX and Estée Lauder liners.)

I like to use liner as an overall color and smudge it out with my fingers. This one is NOT going to let you do that which is a pro and con all on its own. It's very dry and hard so it tends to not apply color evenly if you're using it this way. And there is no smudging it out at all. I find that it is pretty long wear but no more so than cheaper brands. Even on sale I wouldn't buy this again if another brand was available.

For this bold lip look, I’m wearing Revlon’s Color Stay Liner in shade Wine topped with Estée Lauder’s Lip Shine from my Pure Color Envy Set in shade Wicked Gleam. First, I lined my lips with the liner and then used the liner to lightly shade them before topping with the lip shine. I usually select more neutral colors for my lips, but I was happy with this liner gloss combo! Recommend if you like a bolder look.

I’ve been trying to find a mauve lipliner and this is the one! It’s a twist up liner so you dont need to use a sharpened unless you want that pointy tip application. This goes on so smoothly and blends out beautifully. It sits well under lipstick and doesn’t budge. I’ve recently been wearing it under chapstick for a more subtle look but it’s just enough to make my lips pop. Love it and will be trying out other shades.

I love this lip liner. After buying a couple shades, and trying them out with my liquid lipsticks or even using a nude or soft pink and then a clear glass on top. I realized that these are incredible.  I used to always spend a fortune on Morphe, Smashbox, or Mac. But then I found these little beauties at a quarter of the price at work just as well and stay in place for just as long.. I absolutely love them and I think I might have them in every colour at this point.

20 Year Customer thats so disappointed!

As a former manager and makeup artist for a top brand cosmetic line that has been a Revlon customer for well over 20 years. I found the Colorstay line comparable but cheaper in price and loved it for many years but I have to say that when you changed your formulas that no longer rings true and unfortunately I will move on to another line. My disappointment lies not only in the new formulas breaking, not lasting and no longer has staying power and the colors are truly just not good any longer. The lip liner shades no longer good, I've used nude a daily neutral and the new formula the shades dont match up and the color is now awful, and the product just breaks off so again in 2 weeks, Im ready to replace, the formulas no longer last and the shades are way off. The eye shadow well, not pigmented again a waste.I wanted so badly to keep using for Revlon is all I've known and loved for so many years but unfortunately color stay no longer lives up to its name. AWFUL!!!

I have used the ColorStay Lip Liner for as long as I can remember. I also use the ColorStay Eye Liner. Through out the years, I have always received compliments and would always recommend the Revlon products. After recently purchasing a new Lip Liner, I noticed the change in packaging but didn't think that much about it. The next morning, when I tried to line my lips, I was shocked!!! This new product is AWFUL!!! I continued trying to use it but can't say enough bad about it. It is WAY too soft, goes on too dark and too wide, makes a bumpy thick line, does not stay on, feathers and bleeds. The purpose of lip liner is to prevent all of the things that I just listed. Glides like gel and is very long lasting!!

I have been on the hunt for an affordable lip liner like the expensive brands and revlon cover stay is definitely the best! It glides on like a gel and lasts so long. It's very hard to get off, which I like. But it's not like glue; it just has a great hold with beautiful colors. Would 100% recommend!!

If it ain't broke don't fix it!!!

I'm only giving the new formula One Star because I can't give it zero Stars! I have been using ColorStay lip liner for years and absolutely loved it and recommended it to all of my friends. Until you change the formula. The old formula was firmer and stayed on all day! I never had to replace the lip liner during the day, I just renewed my lipstick after eating or drinking etc. I wore the Natural and after applying my lipstick you couldn't even tell I had lip liner on! But it did its job. My lipstick never feathered. The first time I bought a tube of the new formula and applied it, I knew it was a disaster. It is soft, it smears, and it doesn't prevent my lipstick from bleeding at all!
