I grabbed this product, well because it was on clearance. And what stopped me from buying before now was the applicator. Not a fan of the spongy tip. It also seemed to take forever to get the product to make its way to the applicator. Also it's definitely wasting product. I tried to use the sponge and all it did was soak up the foundation. So I decided to just dab the product onto my face and use my brush to blend it in. It had an oily feel to it. But it wasn't cakey. It didn't seem to transfer to anything and it didn't feel heavy on my skin. I didn't wear it for very long so I'm not sure how I feel about this one so I'm going to try it again to get a better feel for it.

I really enjoyed this product. IM OBSESSED 😍 Omg I cannot say enough good things about this foundation. It wears so nicely and somehow it is lightweight but is also decent medium-full coverage! This foundation literally makes your skin glow but it isn't overly dewy either. The picture I've attached has no filters, in the photo im not even wearing powder over the foundation.. it's just the foundation and natural lighting my skin looks better then ever even after a few hours of wear. BUY THIS!!! Revlon was able to give me full coverage and a guarantee for a long lasting beautification effect. It lasted throughout the day and has SPF 20 included to protect you from the sun.

I had heard really good things about Revlons Photoready Foundation from other reviewers “it’s the best foundation in the world” kind of chat. But Revlon updated their Photoready, they changed the formula and renamed it Photoready Airbrush Effect Foundation. But I assumed that it would be it would be similar or better to the previous product and worth a try. Revolutionary formula with Light-Filtering Technology delivers a poreless, airbrushed look. Soft-focus pigments create a luminous finish. your skin has never looked so flawless. It comes in a squat cylinder glass pump bottle. The consistency is liquid, I found it pretty runny and thin. I went for shade Vanilla 002 and it was a good match for me.

To be honest, I have never really ever been a die hard Revlon fan. I picked up this Revlon Photoready Airbrush Effect foundation at Target one day and decided to put it to the test. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE FORMULA AND COVERAGE! At first it felt somewhat heavy and thick but once its on the skin, it blends out beautifully. A little goes a long way!!! Its buildable but I don’t think its necessary to use much of it since the formula does such a great job at providing full coverage! The formula is very rich and smooth, and does make your skin look flawless! When used with a good setting powder and spray, this will last all day without caking! The only con is that the colors are slightly darker than those compared to other similar foundation brands. Im usually a medium beige but had to go a shade lighter. Also, the top cover does not stay in place so if you are like me and like to carry around your to go products... the cover will likely come pff.

I don't like setting powders cause I have sensitive, dry skin or combo skin depending on the season. I find that setting powders often look cakey and ghost like on my skin, leaving my olive skin to look pale, which is another reason why I don't like to use setting powders. In addition, they cling to my ooccasional dry patches. This product is fantastic!! I can set my tzone and use the access product on my brush for a light dusting on the rest of my dry area's of my face and not have the issue of the product clinging to my dry patches or look cakey. Unlike other brands, this product is hydrating and soothing to my sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling soft throughout the day. Not to mention, this product helps my makeup to look flawless and last longer throughout the day!! I like to put this setting powder on and then do a light spray of the urban decay all nighter setting spray. In addition, the packaging!! The packaging is fantastic. It's durable and I like that it has a resealable top on it. Definitely will repurchase when I need it. Definitely a 5 star product Too Faced!

Blend, blend, blend!

You really have to use a beauty brush to apply this correctly. I use my finger to cover spots, wait a little to dry, and then use a brush to apply the rest. This is a full coverage creamy liquid, so it does take a bit more time and blending to apply, but the finish can look flawless even without using primer. Once it is dry, it lasts all day for me unless I'm sweaty. While it doesn't specifically state that this is for older skin, I kind of think it is. It is a little moisturizing and it hides small wrinkles well. I'm not sure why some reviews that this was runny, because this is almost a cream. Maybe try shaking it well? I think the shades look a bit darker in the bottle than on the skin. Now that my light tan is fading this is slightly too dark, so I'm going to blend it with a lighter shade. Even though I keep trying more expensive brands (I have different 3 bottles of Lancome Teint Idole and Miracle right now), I keep coming back to Revlon foundations because they really cover well.

DO NOT BUY this product
26 June 2018

I had such high hopes for this product. I like Revlon as a brand and was looking for a drugstore foundation to get me through the summer because I am too dark for my usual foundation. I had heard about this product a couple years ago and thought this would be a good buy. I was so wrong. It initially went on pretty well, but the next time I checked my face there were so many sparkles. I was confused, thinking it had been from my eyeshadow which was unusual, but I went about my day. I come home and I looked ORANGE and CAKEY. This foundation had oxidized like none other and I determined the glitter was coming from the foundation. It looked so cheap, like I had been to a rave the night before. I experiment with foundations all the time from brand names like Urban ... MoreI had such high hopes for this product. It looked so cheap, like I had been to a rave the night before. I experiment with foundations all the time from brand names like Urban Decay's Naked (which oxidizes) and Estee Lauder double wear (which can be rough for those with dry skin) to Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless (which doesn't last well ) and Covergirl foundation. This is literally the worst foundation I have ever tried. If you are looking for a foundation this is not the product you want.

Extremely bad
8 September 2022

I made a mistake and read only the good reviews on this product, unfortunately I purchased it and the results were devastating, it totally changed my skin tone by the end of the day to a smudgy, oily mess. I had so much oil, grease and residue on my face, hands, handkerchief and I couldn't wait to get it off my face after work. Considering I used it in a hotter humid country, made things even worse. I would not buy or recommend this for any one. It's definitely not a matte foundation, and definitely doesn't last for hours. However if you wanted a makeup look just strictly for photos, and wipe it off immediately after, then perhaps this might work, but anything longer will be disastrous.

Oily Skin? Stay Away! Too many Con's not enough Pro's!

This foundation really sinks into any lines on my face like under my eyes or smile lines. It also looks very cakey if I am breaking out or if I use the photo ready primer underneath. I switched to an elf primer and smashbox primer thinking the primer was the cause for it making me look extremely shiny and running down my face by the end of the day. But no it's the foundation. no matter what primer I used, no matter how much powder I used or "baking" I did I was extremely oily/shiny, the makeup would set for the first hour and then be so oily. If I ever blew my nose or scratched my face you could see alllllll the makeup in that area come off immediately, so my whole face would have makeup except my nose or the place I scratched. especially since the foundation has a ... MoreThis foundation really sinks into any lines on my face like under my eyes or smile lines. For the longest time too I thought the way I was applying my highlighter it was getting all over my face because my face looked like a disco ball. So I would stop highlighting and my whole face was still glittery.. so I thought my makeup brushes and sponges were touching my highlighting brush and getting contaminated by glitter so I would wash them before applying my makeup and it was still happening... come to find out it was the foundation. Too many cons and not enough pros although it does look great in pictures. If you have oily skin stay away!! Dry skin go for it!!
