Revlon Skinlights Prismatic Highlighter - Twilight Gleam

I want to start off by saying my type of highlights are balmy highlights that just give a wet/sweaty look. Having said that, I was so curious to try this one because it has been raved about for years and compared to one of the most iconic and beloved highlights. In my opinion, it is a gorgeous powder highlight that is so fine that it provides that wet look I love from balms, but it goes a little extra with the champagne-gold fine shimmer. It looks absolutely beautiful and I can tell that it suits many different skin tones.

I have been searching for a highlighter that didn't leave my face looking like I was headed to a highschool dance in the 90s. This one is perfect. It leaves my face looking glowy without chunky glitter particles. The colours is a great match for my skin tone and it's so smooth it almost feels like a cream. It doesn't settle into my fine lines either! I prefer it over the high end highlighters I've tried!

Now the prismatic highlighter is beautiful in the container. I was a little worried that it would be too shimmery or two glittery on my face however it was really subtle. Now this could either be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what exactly you want from a highlighter. For me because of my deep complexion this was great because I can build it up to my liking and it wouldn’t be too stark on my face. Now I had to try several different types of brushes to get the product to pick up off of the container and onto my face, and be able to properly blend on my face. Once I was able to find the right brush, the formula was easy to blend out and blend into my skin. I haven't seen much of anything on this highlighter and I can't understand why... it is so under hyped it's not funny. I legit grabbed it while at Walgreens as an impulse buy and it just may be the best drugstore highlighter I have ever purchased... and it's from Revlon?! Right to it. Obviously the packaging is what you would expect from a drugstore brand, the plastic casing is nothing to call home about but the way Revlon presents the formula in the unit is actually eye catching. The subtle wave in the presentation and the diamond cut outs remind me of snake skin and it was enough to get me to throw it in my basket. Daybreak Glimmer is a light gold/champagne shade that's very similar to the Amrezy highlighter from ABH. The formula is also reminiscent of the Amrezy highlighter, albeit a tad more subtle. The silky smooth formula melts into skin and isn't chunky or powdery. It's pigmented in all the right ways, allowing for a buildable glow whether you want a natural from within glow or a blinding highlight without all the glitter. The only downfall to this formula is wear time, it fades after about 5 to 6 hours and is the reason I removed one star. At 12 bucks, this is a must have in any collection.

This revlon highlighter is truly the highlighter I’ve been searching for. It’s not a chunky glitter like I keep finding. It’s just a glimmer of shimmer. It blends pretty well.. I wouldn’t say completely though. It does take a little work, but not much. It looks good with my light skin tone. People say it’s a dupe to ABH Amrezy, it honestly might be.. however I do think this might be a little more harsh on the glimmer than Amrezy.. unless you can blend it more.. but I tried. This price is also pretty good for how much you get. I’d recommend.. it my fav so far.

Amazing glow

I have always suffered of textured skin. Due to that, I can rarely find a highlighter that works for my skin, that has texture and enlarged pores. This product haved changed my makeup game of the better! I can now confidently wear my glow without feeling that I looks patchy, glittery or chunky. This highlighter provides with a Highly reflecting glow capability, without looking harsh or too blinding. (This product is not for those that want to be seeing from the moon back to earth). It provides q nice medium to high level of soft focus inner glow, that brings that shiny wet look, without the look of patchy glitter. It is beginner friendly and is not intimidating at all. I hope that everyone loves it as much as I do.

High-quality highlight

This highlight is work the hype. I was skeptical at first but the quality is top-notch and comparable to higher end brands. It glides on the skin and looks pretty smooth. It can be very pigmented and blinding depending on the brush you use. When I first applied the highlighter, I used a more densely packed highlighting brush and it was crazy blinding and you could see the sparkles. I decided to use a fan brush the second time and it gave me such a beautiful glow without the sparkles. I prefer a more natural highlight so I appreciate how versatile this palette is! You can sheer it out for a beautiful, natural glow or build it up for an intense glow. I would recommend if you don't want to spend a lot of money for a good highlight.

It's good for my oily textured 43 yr old skin

Heard these were amazing. They might be if I hadn't had Natasha denona first and fell in love. But I don't always have Natasha denona $$ to spend. I was looking for an affordable option. This will do for me and I've tried way too many. It's not glittery, it's smooth, doesn't enhance my texture so it is my evryday. I'll save ND highlight for special occasions and where this on the daily. I think that says something.

Waste of money

I purchased this during a big Revlon sale as I find their RRP to be far too high for the quality of their products and had been coveting this highlighter for ages! Unfortunately it lives up to most of my previous experiences with the brand - looks great but mostly disappoints. You can't be subtle with this highlighter because it is invisible unless you trowel it on. Can't be bothered! SO glad i didn't pay full price or i would have been fuming!
