Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick - Black Cherry

I did not expect to love this so much! Better than many more expensive lip sticks I gave tried. As a frequent lip biter and picker, it is so hard for me to find any lip color products that do not dry my lips out or make my lips look more wrinkled within minutes of wearing. This is truly hydrating (not in the way that it just feels hydrating then makes my lips more dry in the long run like some other products seem to do.) A lot of lip products also cause me irritation and make the skin around my lips red, but this one has safer ingredients and make my lips feel and look nourished with a nice buildable color! It feels like butter! It does not cake or peel, hides the wrinkles in my lips and feels lightweight. I also love that I don’t necessarily need a mirror to apply it, It goes on effortlessly and is not messy or leave me anxious that it’s all over my face or smeared off my lip line. I got the color in “On The Mauve” for my light-medium skin tone with neutral undertones. I tend to wear more nude colors on my lips and not extremely vibrant colors that “punch” and I love this shade! The shade options are gorgeous and I feel most of the choices will look great on whatever skin tone and undertones you have. I will absolutely be buying more colors and highly recommend it to those that need the extra hydration with a nice pigmented semi matte color.

I love this handy little mixture of a balm/lipstick/gloss. It looks white, but when it touches your lips it melts on with a clear, shiny, slightly shimmery look. It feels so nice on the lips. Not sticky like a gloss, not drying like a lipstick, and nourishing like a balm. Just take note of two cons: the packaging is a MESS. They cover the seal with a sticker that you need to remove to open the product. Well... I have a few of this product in other colors, and all of them end up with this gummy residue leftover on the bullet. It’s definitely something they need to fix. Also, as for the product itself, it is not long-lasting. (I do t think it’s meant to be, though). So know that you may need to reapply throughout the day.

015 „Dazzle Me Pink“ is a medium pink with slightly warm undertones which I imagine looks amazing on many skin tones. I love the color. This lipstick feels comfortable on the lips and doesn’t feather or bleed, as advertised. The formula is sheer, buildable and shiny. No glitter. It is not as nourishing as I would have expected from the advertisement, which says this is supposed to be as nourishing as a balm. I found the formula not particularly moisturizing, nor drying. It lasts for about 4h, and has to be reapplied after eating and drinking, which is not surprising. All in all, I would recommend this lipstick.

This one swipe of glassy ruby, glaring coral, and so sleek pink respectively. They feel amazing on the lip and you can definitely build up the color if you like. My lips felt very moisturized after using them and I like most of the colors on my lips. It has a candy like smell which I don’t mind. The only thing that I don’t like is it doesn’t stay on your lips for a long time. It smudges really easily and does transfer. The color stays on my lips for about 10 minutes before it smudges or transfers.

A multitasker!

This is a perfect lipstick for those days when you want to slick on just a bit of color with a lot of comfort and moisture! The colors are fairly sheer. You cn also use this lipstick as a gloss over the more fuller coverage classic Super Lustrous lippies. Just make sure to use a brush to apply the SL Glass Shine over the SL classic. This way you control the application and keep the lippies clean. I do not see the SL Gass Shine in Sparlking Quartz. I was so looking forward to buying my 3rd tube b/c I used it as a gloss over any other lippie or as a cushiony lip balm. But, I am glad to see Glosse Up Rose is still available so I can get my 2nd tube:) Thank you Revlon!

Glossy and hydrating

I was very lucky to have been gifted by Revlon the entire set of Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipsticks. Of the 12 shades my favourites are Cherries in the Snow, Love is On and Black Cherry.These lipsticks are so lightweight and comfortable to wear – almost like a tinted balm if applied lightly. They glide smoothly over my lips leaving a glossy finish and making my lips feel hydrated and soft. The colours are well pigmented and I find I can apply a light cover or I can build up to a more intense shade.The gloss finish is the type of lipstick I prefer because it brings a bit of life to my lips. Non-drying, with a lovely creamy slippery feel without feeling greasy. The staying power isn’t too bad until I eat and then it’s time to reapply. Perfect Dupe for Chanel Rouge Cocoa Flash ( Shine Lipstick)

I was looking for a lipstick with the shine of a gloss and was introduced to the Chanel one called Chanel Rouge Cocoa Flash. I honestly thought it was a shiny balm because it didn’t have the normal tip of a traditional lipstick and I had been wearing tinted lip balms that were shiny. So I really liked the concept of the ease of a lipstick but shiny and full color like a lip gloss that isn’t really sticky. But the Chanel Rouge Cocoa Flash cost 40.00 each and that is a lot for as much as I use lip products. So I had heard an advertisement about a Revlon Shiny Lipstick and thought , oh ! I should check it out and it should cost less, which would be a big bonus. The one thing I hated about the Chanel one , was their lack of colors. Go figure , my first try for a Mauve shade and Bingo , I found the perfect one. I am super happy I heard the advertisement of this product !PS I bought this on my own and giving a review because I honestly found my new Holy Grail Lip Shine , and for a great price and right around the corner from my house. Also, the Chanel one went up to 42.00 and they never go on sale! Goodbye Chanel ! Hello Revlon !

Where the heck can I buy it???

This is basically a lipgloss stick and I freaking love it. I have it in about six shades and wear them often. They are so creamy, pretty opaque, and super moisturizing. This product only has two downsides, one being that it has little longevity, though you don't usually expect that out of a glossy lip product. The second is that it is getting so hard to find!! Please Revlon, do not discontinue this product or get rid of the original shades! It is really a gorgeous product and one I'd love to use for years to come!!

The only downfall of the packaging is the security labels are hard to peel off and leave a sticky residue. That doesn’t really bother me but it may bother other people.The formulation and colour range of these lipsticks make them perfect for teenagers to mature aged people. These lipsticks are really, really good and I highly recommend!
