Rexel Momentum Cross-Cut Shredder X410

Great machine. Eats paper like I've never seen before. Well worth the investment in this machine. Hopefully last a lot longer than my previous Q-Connect rubbish ha.Larger than i expected however this is not a problem.

love this shredder. cuts up into small criss-cross pieces, 10 sheets at a time. easy to use and robust :-)

Great Shredder

For the price this Shredder does the job in our office. It does "time out" to save power and sometimes takes some fiddling to get it going again but it still functions fine.I would recommend.

Hopeless. Constantly clogs up.

Absolutely hopeless. I only shredded 1 piece of paper at a time & the teeth constantly clogged up.This shredder is supposed to shred up to 10 pieces per shred. I wouldn't even try. My previous cheap as chips shredder was better than this. Definiately returning this item.

Quieter

Was out of stock when I ordered, but only found out after the order was placed. Feedback was poor right up to delivery.The instructions seem to cover 30 plus languages, but tell you nothing. The box says you can shred paperclips, the label on the unit says no. There is an on/off switch at the back, (not mentioned). Has a number of lights on it, some blink. You have to guess what they are for as the instructions don't mention these either. Cant shred Credit cards!!!!!But has a bigger bucket than the last one, and is quieter. Its OK, but I don't think I will buy another one.

Solid shredder with large bin.

This shredder operates well. Reasonably quiet and a good size bin, so less emptying when shredding larger amounts. Has a reverse function, both manual and automatic to clear blockages. Get a good 6/7 minutes of continuous use before overheat safety switch cuts in. Cools down over about 60 minutes and the restarts. Ideal for home use but would struggle for any larger projects. Easily takes 5 sheets of 80gsm paper at a time. Any more and it struggles. Overall a good machine.

Sorry I purchase this shredder

What a terrible product this is. Forget being able to shred 10 sheets at a time, I'm now shredding only 2 sheets at a time as the cutters block up with any more. I can only shred 20 sheets (2 at a time) before needing to empty it or it back up on the already shredded paper. It's a pain in the neck and I feel I've wasted considerable money having been talked into it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I read product review prior to purchasing and they were all good however now when I read them no one is happy with the item.

Pros: Much more efficient than smaller machines and dealt with various paper thickness sheets. Very safe which is important when in a family home. Good sized storage compartment for shredded paper.Cons: Nothing I could think of.

Very poor product; but excellent treatment by Staples

This shredder had no power, even struggling to shred three sheets of paper at a time. It jammed and overheated frequently. Staples gave me refund without quibble.
