The tamper has a good weight and fits my hand well. Most importantly, it fits the Pullman 58mm portafilter basket almost perfectly.

I enjoyed using this tamper and got good results UNTIL I dropped it onto tiles. About 3mm of the bottom edge of the base got flattened and is now causing puck inconsistency.That said, I'm going to buy another one to replace it, and pray for no more drops.

Works well with my Gaggia Classic Pro. Fits easily in the portalfilter with a very small gap.Has a great weight to it and feels good in the hand.
The 53mm works well with my Breville Barista Express! Feels nicely weighted and durable. This is certainly a much needed improvement to the small, light, plastic tamper that is provided with the machine. A really nice tamper that won't break the bank!
Absolutely love this tamper - heavy, attractive and perfectly-sized, it has really improved my coffee making in terms of results (less channeling from a 'halo' around the puck), and more of a pleasant and quicker prep process. The significant weight of this tamper means less effort needs to be made to balance the tamper and press down. I absolutely love it and will likely never replace it ever again!
Bought the black one as it match's the coffee machine and accessories nicely. It has a good weight and feel and performs very well. Grinds don't stick to the bottom when tamping, I give it a turn when applying the pressure. Great price, no need to spend anymore.
This is a high quality tamper that will not wear out. The tamper metal goes through entire handle so there is no flex when using it. The tamper also looks stylish on the counter.I ordered the 53mm version and it perfectly fits my Saeco portafilter.Great product. Thanks!
Don't have a lot of experience with many tampers, maybe because this one works great with a 58mm basket. Price was very good as well, it could be prettier but that wouldn't make it work any better.
solid metal tamper, a nice upgrade from the plastic ones you get from breville. does the job and the 500g weight makes it easier to tamper without me having to put my whole weight on it.
