The Rhino backbone rack is great way to overcome the inadequate fastening of the original rails that come factory fitted on the Ford Everest. The 4mm lip is not enough to safely fit and secure any type of roof rack. However fitting the Rhino backbone to the Ford Everest will allow fitments of your choice of rails or carriers securely and safely. They are a great product that will give me peace of mind on my travels.
