The box containing the battery was bent and crushed as if it had been used before. It seems to work fine so I will keep it.

Pros: Very small and neat. Fits into the camera easily.Cons: This was purchased as a spare battery as the power of the thing does not last long. As a new user trying to get to grips with the menus the battery life is eaten up really fast. I found it disappointing that Ricoh did not include a separate battery charger, so you can't be charging the spare battery while using the camera. You need to budget for another £100, over the cost of the camera, to buy a spare battery and a charger.

Battery works great. The new GR III really eats through batteries, so best to have at least 1 or 2 extras, charged up and ready to go!
No complaints, the battery came fast in the mail and works great. I have almost every old THETA model and it's so nice with the X to be able to change batteries on the run. Especially because I'm doing about three virtual tours a day.
Worked as described, though both of the two that I had consistently died faster than the pile of DB-65s that I have. Wish Ricoh improved on this!
It's too soon to give a 5 star rating on the two extra batteries, but at this point I know they charge and have a use time about as expected by reviewers and commenters online. I wish they had included plastic cases for each battery to avoid shorting the contacts while carrying in your pocket.
The fact that you need to buy an extra battery when you buy a camera is annoying enough, but in all my previous experiences, most of the time it just reassured me that I won't get stuck with a dead battery. Before purchasing the GR III, I read some reviews and in most of them there was talk of poor battery life, I just didn't realize how poor...The battery died on me in my second day of use without reaching the promised 200 shots in the specs and ever since then I haven't gotten close to the 200 even though I usually keep the display off. However, if you do decide to get the GR III (many photographers swear by it), make sure you get at least one spare battery.
I have used several batteries from alternative brands but the original ones are always more reliable and durable. Not only do they last longer in terms of shots per charge but they do also maintain capacity for many more recharging cycles.Taken that it is an expensive battery for a very expensive camera, the price on Galaxus is the lowest I have seen
So far so good. Same battery that comes with the Ricoh GR-III, so it’s the same performance. The cost is very reasonable given it’s a genuine Ricoh labeled battery and not an off brand. Also, if you’re looking for a compact wall charger, this battery will charge with a Watson Compact AC/DC charger for the Olympus LI-90B battery. I read they were the same battery so I trekked the charger and it’s working for me.
