My 8 year old plays this game on occasions. I wouldn't say it is one of his favorite but he still has fun playing it. You can do different tricks and complete missions either on bikes, snowboards, ski's and maybe a few others. I would reccomend for any kids that are into those type of things.

I didnt have very high expectations for this game but man oh man, i am blown away. I havent even had it a day, and its all I have played. So much to do, MASSIVE map. Excellent graphics, zero FPS dips. Worth every penny. Especially on sale. I would have paid $60 and still been been happy lol. Highly recommend.

This game is really fun. It’s definitely a challenge as well. Only a few hours in and I’m stacking up points. Getting all types of new gear. And unlocking events.I’m used to playing extreme sports games. I really like that you can do all types of extreme sports. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s a fan of snowboarding, bmx, etc.

Riders Republic is a great open world extreme sports racing game. There’s accessibility options for players of all skill levels. The game is mostly focused on racing, but there are a few trick events too. The only bummer is that there are micro transactions baked in and the bmx bike expansion is not included in the standard edition of the game. If you like games like SSX and 1080 snowboarding, then this is worth checking out.
A blast once all event types are unlocked. Great visuals, even on PS4. Simple to start controls with room for plenty of player expression when it comes to tricks. Took a star off for the aggressive monetization (par for the course with most modern games, especially for Ubisoft) & bland single player story. If you're buying this for your kids, be sure to unlink those credit cards from their online accounts. Also no split screen option is a huge bummer for this kind of game. This is a single player only experience.
I really liked this game and the first few hours was fun, but then, at one point, the control did not work! I had to go through youtube video to figure out why my control was not working. Basically when you are on tutorial, you cannot go to another place until you complete your tutorial, otherwise your control will freeze
It's has a open world to Rome around, it can be boring after awhile, but special and most events you need Xbox live subscription! This really limites you from 80% of the game.At least they can give us more free events for the price they are offering this game.It does allow you to go Solo but there very few of those .If it was more then 10 dollars I would be extremely upset. I'm a little tho ,So over all if you're picking this up basically for solo ,you'll probably be extremely disappointed.Don't pay more then 12 for this game ,even that it's not worth it.
I would rate this game a 7 out of 10. The thing I enjoy most about this game is the massive and beautiful open world. There is just an awesome sense of freedom and exploitability in this game whether you are flying down the mountains or racing across the desert. The actual gameplay is decent. I enjoy the snow races the most, and I also feel it is the most realistic out of all the different sports. The mass races are a chaotic mess but in the most awesome way possible. But other than the mass races I am not a fan of the competitive feel in this game, or the lack there of. There are not many multiplayer events, and this game doesn't even keep track of stats. My biggest problem with this game is the blatant micro-transactions and the lack of earned cosmetics. The costumes are ridiculous, and all the good ones are locked behind a paywall. It is really sickening. However, I did have a blast playing this game, and it is overall pretty good.
This is the game I have been waiting been waiting for since Downhill Domination and SSX Tricky on the PS2. This is made by the same developers that made Steep, and while you can feel their influence, this game does feel different than Steep. The control scheme is different but you do have the option to go back to Steep controls which is a nice addition.Overall this game amps up the crazy and feels like a nice blend of old school EA BIG style games with some nice modern controls.
Two days into playing and it was worth the Black Friday price. Not meaning its not worth full price but sure glad I didn't shell out $60 for it.Pros:Massive map, pretty quick to get from A-B fast traveling far diatances. more vehicle options from its predecessor...Steep, real locations around CO and Utah (and more I'm sure). Options for controls of each thing are customizable so you can change to what suits you. Recovery time is a much needed upgrade.Cons:Since there are so many different vehicles, controls are confusing at first. Too many different things you can do at once and some not explained well. The rewind feature is nice but got in my way so I disabled it.Overall: If you liked Steep, You may like this better. Definitely more options all around.
