Riedel Ouverture Red Wine Glasses (Set of 2)

These glasses are much smaller than anticipated and more a tasting size glass than the usual specific size for a chardonnay or sav or pinot (a white wine) glass. Close to the size of a snifter or port glass, which is too small.I understood they were not crystal so that comes as no surprise they are just surprisingly small. I think I'll leave these out the front of the house and buy some bigger glasses.

Fast delivery. Glasses arrived intact. Good quality. Weight-wise the glasses feel very light, which may or may not be a good thing.

Fantastic glasses

Bought this for a gift as I am a huge fan of Riedel glassware and own plenty of it myself. The recipient was very pleased with this product. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys drinking wine.

Great glasses

The wine glasses actually make the wine taste better.. The glass is comfortable to hold and is not as apt to fall over. I would definitely buy these again!

Nice quality but size is far from expectations

Riedel quality is not questionable but I ordered these thinking they were way bigger glasses. It is more like a tasting glass. I wanted to return these but need to pay for return fees which are the price of one box for us customers so I'm keeping them but will probably never use.

Packaging was terrible. Embarrassed to give as a gift. Delivery box wasn't sealed and minimal material was used to stop product boxes from getting thrown around inside - unsurprisingly they were damaged. I was amazed the glasses weren't broken.

excellent wineglass.

We'd been searching for several years to augment our ~7" tall wine glasses as the numbers diminished. In looking widely, we became ever more dismayed at the oversize glasses, height and volume alike, dominate the market. Though marketed as white wine glasses, these from Riedel are a good enough match with what we already have, and easily hold a normal 4 to 5 oz. pour. We have a difference in the house about loading them into the dishwasher, but I have no doubt they would come through without damage. The price is right. I mark the quality at 4 rather than five because we'd both like a lighter-weight and somewhat more delicate glass. Hard to find, and the price rises astronomically for everyday use.
