Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro (White)

Bought two of the Ring Floodlight Wired Pro Cam's. Easy installation and setup (providing you already have the electric supply). Setup for WIFI and camera through the Ring App is easy and straight forward. Allows custom notification zones within the cameras view. All video is saved on Rings servers but requires a monthly or yearly subscription after the 30day free trial expires. The floodlights can be set to turn on and off at custom scheduled times and or by using the app as needed. I had an issue with one of my cameras, the night after I installed them it rain and one of the cameras got moisture in the lens and had to be returned. Apparently it was not sealed correctly. DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS FOR PC

I purchased the floodlight cam along with the doorbell and an additional spotlight cam. After I had all three installed I discovered that the floodlight cam does not work with my PC. When I Googled the problem, I found many others have the same issue. Apparently, the app for windows does not support this camera for some ignorant reason, even though Ring claims that it will on its packaging. At these prices I expect things to work the way they are intended to. I would have never purchased these products had I known that I wouldn't be able to use them the way that I had intended. I certainly would have gone with a different brand. Now I'm limited to only being able to use it with my phone. Excellent Product, Satisfactory Subscription Price

It works well as expected. It's much better than a battery-powered system. No batteries to charge and no need to replace batteries--ever!!! That's a significant advantage over the battery-powered system. Moreover, the capability of the Ring Floodlight Pro system is marvelous. The lights are not too strong; I would say the luminosity is just right. I am completely satisfied with the product quality, subscription price, and AI-based customer service. I have not had a direct interaction with real customer service people. One of the Ring tutorial videos did not work well. After the video ended, there was no way to exit. It took me a while to find a way out. Well, it was quite frustrating initially, but it is no longer an issue for me. Thus far, all good!

Excellent Security Camera with Nice Features

While it is always nice to have more resolution, this camera provides what it advertises, along with many useful features for setting coverage areas. It has adjustable sensitivity and has a setting that allows human motions to be detected, and these work well. With knowledge of electrical wiring and requirements (the NEC), it is also easy to install, even providing a little hanger to hold it while connecting wires and an adjustable installation tool. All types of screws are supplied for connecting to the electrical box. It is also nice to have choices of colors. The Ring App also works well, both on my iPhone and my Windows 10 and 11 computers. The pictures are clear and the lights are bright at night.

Great but be sure its not wired to other lights.

This was a nice upgrade from the previous version Ring Floodlight cam that started having issues after 3 years (was not regulating the floodlights properly and daytime video would have a blue or purple hue instead of clear). This is a GREAT camera if you are replacing a single floodlight unit outside. In my case, I deducted a star because my floodlight and coach lights are wired in the same circuit. The previous version allowed the positive to go in the camera and had a secondary positive out that would only turn on the coach lights whenever the floodlights would activate. With this new camera since its only one positive wire, my coach lights stay on during the day time. My only resolve would be to have an electrician rewire this. What a great product! I have two of these lights at my house to supplement two Ring doorbell cameras. Both of my motion light cameras are soffit mounted and are about 14 feet from the ground. Installation and connection woes

The bronze color may be bougy but I love it. The camera provides great image quality even at night. The lights are very bright. The motion sensitivity is very sensitive even when not on the highest setting. Insects, squirrels and palm fronds blowing in the wind are setting it off. We do have big bugs in Florida. A couple negatives really stood out for installation. First, it would be great for Ring to have a 90 degree extension for an eave mount. My home was built in the 80s with electrical boxes for old style security lights on the eave and the eave is at a 45 degree angle. I had four of the Ring cameras installed. Display the serial number for each device installed in the app.3. Give an error message in the app if someone is attempting to install a duplicate device. I had two cameras connected before the electrician left. I had to stop them from hauling away my boxes. Sadly, the boxes from the two connected cameras were mixed with the boxes for the two that weren’t connected. After multiple attempts to connect the fourth camera, I rescanned codes from the other boxes to find the code that wasn’t connected.I’m still tweaking the motion sensitivity and other settings. If not for the installation/connection issues, I’d give these cameras five stars.

Poor Coverage. Cameras only cover 30 feet.

Just purchased multiple cameras. They only have a maximum distance of 30 feet from the camera. My Christmas decorations were vandalized and none of the cameras caught it. I have a complete system for the front of the house, side, garage and back of the house. So if you have anything more than 30 feet from the camera it is unprotected. The camera over the driveway does not even cover my two cars. Someone can break into my car and it would never get recorded. When I called to see if there was any adjustments I could make I was told I should have done a better job of researching the product. I am just beyond the 30 day return window. Expensive $1000 lesson. I would recommend people to check out other products if you want to cover any larger areas. For me personally ... MoreJust purchased multiple cameras. Ring Floodlight Pro Outdoor Wired Camera

I am happy with this camera. I ordered it in white and it looks good on the front of my house near my porch. My front yard consists of an acre and this camera picks up everything! The images are crisp. It was easy for me to set up with the ring app on my iPhone. I also own 2 stick-up outdoor cameras plus a doorbell camera, all made by Ring and I am pleased with them also. I have no negative comments to make about this camera, only positive ones. I am 85 years old and live alone. These cameras make me feel safer.

Taken by Rings advertisement and not the product

This is sad on me once again. I purchased this based on the high tech feature of the Birds Eye View. And clearly I was taken for a sad ride as it is an awful feature for a premium cost! The view is so but you can not even make out the HOUSE let alone and smaller detail. Ring has done it to me again as I have bought their hype for some of my other devices. Maybe now I will stick to it and start the switch to a competitor UNLESS Ring will respond. And I never hold my breath. So beware if you are buying the upgrade features. Save your money and headaches of taking down the old lights, installing the new Ring floodlight, setting it up ONLY to find it it fails miserably and my recourse is to ask the Map Company used to improve their product. Foolish me
