Ring Indoor Camera - White

We have a Ring Indoor Cam in one of our rooms (Where one of our cats stays when we aren't home) so we can monitor our pets while we are at work. We use a few cameras , different brands, and the Ring is exceptional. We have 2 way speech on it, so we can talk to and be spoken to back, it has an alarm option and the ability to record footage. Mine needs a subscription though to save footage (which is a monthly fee), which is the only downside as our others save the footage on Memory cards by looping. If you are happy about paying a monthly subscription then this is great, although you can still run it without one (access via their app on your phone) but you can just view, not save footage. A great quality camera with high resolution and clear footage- The ability to activate the alarm is great if you ever need to as well.

A brilliant add on to my doorbell

We have been slowly accumulating ring cameras. When our old door bell broke we bought a Ring one and loved it. For this camera we bought a stick-on slide in base and have it slightly angled on our kitchen cabinet so we can see the whole back door, the cat flap and most of the kitchen. It replaces an older bigger camera of another make we had sat on the floor. The viewing angle although slightly less is far more than adequate for our use. The actual item is about the size of a fist so very unintrusive in situ. The actual product has sufficient sturdiness but is still lightweight. I love the many angles you can choose to fix it from the two available attachment points. The software is absolutely brilliant. Can't turn off video or sound feed.

Couldn't turn the camera and mic off. You could "stop it from recording" but the mic and camera were always picking up sound and video. Only way to stop this was to disconnect the setup. I wasn't comfortable with this and I was even less comfortable with ring after I saw the fiasco about "privileged higher ups" being able to watch and listen to your feed at their leisure. I do not recommend this camera if you do not get unlimited data for you internet monthly. I don't know if they fixed the security problem yet. Get a cctv security system that saves a backup to dropbox/cloud or something.

Great Indoor Camera but Audio Quality is very poor

I purchased this in-door security camera to protect my privacy of my bedroom as I live in shared accommodation and wanted to make sure nobody was sneaking around in my bedroom.The camera works great and the motion detection and video quality is incredible for the price. Great to watch our cats when we are on holiday

We bought this camera so we can watch and talk to our cats whilst we are on holiday and to make sure that they are not having late night parties and keeping the neighbours up all night. It proved very useful and we may get more in the future to instal in different parts of the flat. We switch it off when we are at home and put it on when out for longer periods of time. It is small and easy to install, although it would have been nice if it was battery run (or had that option) as it limits where it can be put up. If you want to put it up really high and the socket is all the way down it can be problematic, or if you want to put it in a specific corner and the socket is on the other side... otherwise nice piece of kit...

Indoor Cam

Ring cameras are a great option for personalized home security. We’ve got a bunch of these different cameras throughout our property and they work at about 90%. You have some issues here and there but overall they are worth the buy. The night mode works better when you have some light in the room, so we always have a light on in the kitchen to make sure we get all recordings. Also, if your router drops signal a lot, these will run slower, some activities won’t record or will skip, and the app runs slower. We upgraded to Eero and the cameras and app work a lot better.

Pros: Brilliant clear picture on videos. Lights good and bright. Easy to install by competent DIY’er.Cons: The detection zones are a little difficult to set up and seem to be inconsistent - the motion detection picks up things that are outside of the detection zone I have set. Also detection seems more sensitive at night - being set off by cars passing in the street (even on the other side) when the zone is set to just inside the bottom of my drive. The lack of ability to move spotlights sideways (they only move up and down) - to cover the area I wanted to cover (and not light up half my neighbours garden) I had to mount the whole unit at an angle - the camera though flexes in all directions so doing this did work.

RING ~ Small But Mighty WiFi Security Camera!

Bought this and was surprised to see how small it was upon opening the box. However although small it's mighty! We already have the Ring Doorbell Pro so this was a breeze to set up as had the phone app. Simply scan the code with your phone and it walks you through the setup steps. The picture at night is crystal clear, daylight is perfect and for the price it's a super good value! So easy to access the videos using the app as well. We paid for the extra program that let's you keep and record the videos instead of just watching live only. Well worth the purchase! Have had no problems and feel much more secure! Thanks for the great product RING!!!

The Ring is King

Ring cameras are great cameras and the Ring Indoor 1080P is no exception. I used it in a Nursing Home that allows caretakers to place cameras in their loved ones rooms. Not only did it provide peace of mind for my loved one but for me. Also a plus is that I could speak to her anytime I wanted and to staff if they had questions or if I had concerns. I love that everything is stored in the cloud for a small monthly fee. Having live real time video and motion detection is the main reason for me purchasing this particular camera. Picture and sound quality during a call is much better than most all the camera I could have purchased. I brought my loved one home and now I can use it in her room.
