Ring Stick Up Cam Battery Black

Ring makes me and family feel protected. We have two of the Ring Stick Up cameras. One is watching over the front of our house and the other is watching over the back of our house. The installation and set up is very easy. Charge the batteries, download the application, and find the best place to install. My husband used a screw gun to install the cameras. The video is great and it captures anyone or anything that walks or flys by! We enjoy checking the cameras at night and the video is great! Feel safe in your home with these affordable cameras!

I loved this camera when I got it a few months ago. It had a nice clear picture and it was so handy to have in my garage so I could keep an eye on the friendly feral cats I feed (and TNR etc.). I feel like the video quality became less and less over time and then what appeared to be a cobweb suddenly somewhat obstructed my vision. I tried to wipe it off but now it is so much worse than with the web. The picture is extremely pixelated if it even works at all. After taking tons of time reading through their community forum (that’s pretty much the only way to get a question answered through them) the best thing recommended was to spray Pam on a cloth a wipe it on the lens. There isn’t one available anywhere that i can find, though. You’d think if it could be out in the cold and wind and snow and rain that a spiderweb could be cleaned off with next to no problem. I would highly recommend never trying to clean anything off of the lens cover and probably place it in a clear weatherproof box if you are going to keep it outside (and also inside, apparently). Also, you must pay a monthly fee if you would like to see anything other than the current live feed, just fyi- I’m pretty sure there’s something similar with most home monitoring systems though.

I am really liking this camera. My horse had some medical issues and needed a close eye kept on her, we already have Ring cameras at the house so chose to get one for the barn too. We don’t have electric in the barn so this battery powered Ring was our best bet. I have it connected to hotspot which gives it enough connection to do live view. It’s been very helpful. The battery does die quickly, BUT I was checking the live feed every 15 minutes. Now that I’m checking it less, the battery is lasting much longer. Night vision is great, as mentioned we don’t have lights in the barn. The screenshot is taken at night.

The camera portion is black with white shell (by the time I bought it, now there’s black version as well I believe). The design is modern and sleek, it can blend well with most decoration or house aesthetic. Out of the box, the cam has little stand in the bottom. Since I wanted to have entire view of my living area, I unscrewed the stand and put it on the rear side of Ring Cam to mount on the wall. Ring now has mandated Two-Step Verification for better security which is crucial especially for indoor camera. I also signed up for Ring Protect plan to have it save and record moments when it picks up activities. I highly recommend Ring Camera to anyone for better security.

I really like that the stick up cam looks modern and stylish and doesn't look out-of-place in the living room. We set it up in our living room where we can see our pets while we are out. The camera function is extremely clear and high quality, and so is the audio function. The audio function is very high quality as well. It literally sounds like I'm standing in the next room. I use the Ring primarily in the dog room so I can monitor what’s going on in there while I’m out. Our dog room is a small bedroom with couch, dog beds and a cat tower and home to three dogs and a cat. I love that I can set the Ring up at one end of the room and the wide-angle allows me to see everything. I don’t have it mounted so that I can move it around the house if desired. It’s totally controllable from the app so that wherever I am I can check in on the animals - or turn off the motion detector so that I’m not bothered by notifications every time one of them moves. It’s given me real peace of mind knowing they mostly just sleep! If anyone so much as approaches our front gate the dogs get up and bark and I get notified. Hello Bestbuy,I recently bought this ring camera at the Augusta maine location. I was drawn to it because my mother had bought one at the lowes in auburn maine. I hooked hers up in her house, and also shared it to my phone just incase hecause the primary reason was to keep an eye on the house of course but also our dog, and my dad not to like make him feel smothered just to make sure he's okay ( 84 in july). I also have purchased dash cams for my truck just because of crime rates increasing but i wanted something that i could get notified with a live viewing if my truck was being messed with ( I could call 911 asap, catch burglar in the act). My mom's is the older version ( white/indoor or outdoor) we love it! Ah, the Ring Video Camera, the high-tech sentinel of suburbia, or as I like to call it, my personal snooping sidekick. The Ring Video Camera isn't just a security device – it's a comedic companion that turns everyday surveillance into a sidesplitting sitcom. From installation antics (im not tech savvy, instalation was tricky. I had to get help) to motion detection mishaps, it's the perfect addition to any homeowner's laugh-out-loud security arsenal. I use the camera in my livingroom and it helps me keep an eye on my dogs while im at work. After my son helped with installation and talked me through the app, it was great. It works well, great picture as advertised. I feel better about being away from my dogs, knowing i can check on them with just a click of a button.

I was very excited with the anticipation of receiving this product and it did not disappoint. I already have the doorbell ring, so this was the perfect compliment to that system. I have one small pittbull/poodle mix on a GPS collar and 3.5 acres, plus a handful of sheep and goats out back. My young child likes to play on the swingset and always brings the dog out with her. With the outdoor ring, I have the capability to check on them at any time and still see any visitors to the sheep and goat pen.
