The Rinnai Avenger 25 Heater is amazingly quite compared with our old one (Paloma). Heats way better - very quick and fast our downstairs 45m2 is warm in a blink of an eye (heating to 22).It does heat upstairs as well. Very happy with Appliances Online service, communication was great, they also took the old one (faulty) away free of charge.

We were talking into the Rinnai Avenger 25, it was more than we were keen to spend but considering the layout of our home it was the better of the two options. We can run this for 30 minutes and it heats up our rather large open plan townhouse nicely. The features are nice but probably the best one is when it gets to an optimal temp it doesn't keep heating. Would highly recommend installing Google Nests as opposed to standard fire detectors just in case of carbon monoxide.

Bought this gas heater to cover a large area in a home that is very open plan. Replaced a very old radiant gas heater that was costing me a fortune in gas.This heater is awesome! It is so quick to heat up, gives you the room temperature (which is a tad depressing first thing in the morning but that's not the heaters fault), and the economy mode is a great feature.Still yet to get a gas bill to see how it fares but so far I am super happy with this.

Bought this heater on the weekend and it’s super efficient at heating which is nice. However the remote that comes with it has an extremely easily accessed button battery. The cover practically falls off and the battery is right there. Super unsafe with a 3 year old in the house. I can’t actually believe it’s legal??!! Disappointed that a well known brand has such poor safety standards.
This heater was recommended to us by the previous owner of our house. We have ducted which is great for cooling in summer but it’s not great in winter for heating so we purchased this gas heater. It’s pricey but very effective in warming our small home in a short amount of time. The heat also stays in nicely. The first day we noticed a slight smell, but nothing since. It would be great if it had a delayed start function rather than a timer so that we could set it to start early hours of the morning without having to get out of bed to turn it on. Very happy otherwise.
This heater does not stop pumping out heat by design. Even on the lowest setting even when the actual temp in the room is high it doesnt stop pumping out the heat. The advice Rinnai gave me was open a door! LOL
We had our old Rinnai for nearly 20 yrs. It was still working when we decided to replace it. We bought the Rinnai Avenger 25 because of its good reviews and recommendations. We are glad we did. We paid Appliance online around $200 less than the market price. Appliance online delivered it the next day and picked up the old one at the same time. The new unit looks slightly smaller but is twice as powerful.
I ordered my heater friday afternoon and it arrived monday morning, I was surprised to see it was made in Japan not China. This is my second Rinnai NG heater in ten years and I am very pleased with the performance and its easy to use. I read a lot of bleating by people who expected it to adjust to the room temp, the Eco mode is just as good and with the remote control you can easily adjust the temp. It excellent at quickly heating up a cold room. Like all unflued gas heaters there are fumes if you don't ventilate the room, they are only slight and I don't notice them. Finally, the best price I could find for this model was at Appliances Online.
Absolutely best money I ever spent. This heater literally heats my entire house in no time at all. Quiet, super warm and so very happy with my new purchase. Should have bought this 20 years ago. Thanks Rinnai! & Appliances Online the best dealer I have ever dealt with!!
We bought this to heat a large open area as was informed by the salesman and the reviews we were shown were very positive.Bit disappointed as it does not heat the whole area that we required and we have pointed it at different angles to reflect the heat.The early morning timer function works very well and is a simple function to operate. No problems with the remote control performance either. Needs Fluing or airflow in the room your heating as you get that after burnt gas smell through the house. Would I recommend this to my friends probably not but if they were at my house and seen it in action then they could make up their own mind.
