Rip Curl Flashbomb Heatseeker 3/2 Zip Free Wetsuit Mens

What a great suit! Bought it for kitesurfing in the Netherlands. I’m impressed at how warm it keeps you, December is getting close and I can still spend hours on the water without getting cold while (in combination with gloves etc of course ;) The neoprene is very flexible and gives all the movement you need, no sore neck. Definitely worth the investment, your warmth is an important part of your safety when out in winter.

Best wetsuit I had so far… the furry inside is super comfy to wear, it protects me from windchill and the hood keeps my head warm. I was out windsurfing for 2 hours at 7C and not a bit cold. At 2C I had another layer below and as I was out I thought I could have gone with just the wetsuit. When you crash only a little water gets in and when you’re back on the board the wetsuit basically dries in an instant. Perfect to get me trough the winter! The only thing that bothers me a little are the seams on the inside, after spending a few hours in the suit they get a little itchy on the side of my knee and armpit. But that’s complaining on a high level. I can recommend it very much, thanks Rip Curl!

Haven’t been in the water yet. But the product feels very comfy. To get in is quite smooth compared to other. I’m quite excited to see what the Heatseeker technology is all about and if it’s worth to be the most expensive wetsuits on the market.

Great wetsuit. Warm and comftable. High Price for premium wetsuit. Zipfree in combination with Great E7 Neopren works well, even for a zipfree beginner like me

Good, but not warm enough!

I had a previous iteration of this suit at 5.5/4 mm and it was warm through winter (about 45 degrees in Washington); never got cold. This new version has thinner lining and they shaved off 0.5 mm from the body. It's very flexible and lighter and fits exceptionally well (M 5'10" 145 lbs) all of which is welcome but it's not as warm. If the sets are spaced out I'm getting chilled and shivering after 90 minutes in mid forties water. I gotta think the reduction in thickness caused this. I see the other reviewers say it's warm. Not sure what to say- I am pretty skinny, but again the previous version worked fine.

Great wetsuit, crummy zipper

I've had 3 of these wetsuits now and they're super warm. They've improved the durability too. But, the zipper always fails, which Rip Curl will replace under warranty for 1 year, but that takes many weeks before getting the suit back. If you're out of warranty, it's not free.

New England Windsurfing

Finally gave in to getting a surf suit for windsurfing after a few friends recommended the Flashbomb- it's so nice and soft and warm- perfect for cool Rhode Island water!!

Overall really good

Great wetsuit overall. Only weakness I think back of knees should be more flexible pretty stiff there. Has kept me warm in 39 degree F water with 20 degree air temp. With this thickness I like having the chest zip, but I prefer no zip on anything thinner. Have had great luck with Rip Curl, waiting for them to offer a more environmentally friendly option soon I hope.

If I could marry one wetsuit, I would be this one!I love it. You definitly get high quality. This is a really warm 4/3, and it also really dries quickly, what I love, since I go out almost every day and it's alway almost dry the next day, what is way nicer and inviting than other cheaper wetsuit . Finally my sessions are not limited due to feeling cold and it allows me to paddle without gloves when water is in the higher 50s, what I like. Sizing was a little tricky, but Sarah from Cleanline helped me tremendously! I ended up with a 6 (I wear a 6 in O' Neill, a 4 in Roxy), I probably would have even gotten away with a 4, but my chest is kind of on the bigger side. best wetsuit

This is hands down the best wetsuit on the market by a long shot. HIGHLY recommend.I tend to be an XS in most suits under 5 mils, but I got this in a small. I'm 5'7 125 lbs, this fits perfectly snug legs through my body. The only thing that is a tad long is the sleeves (could fit best for someone 5'8,5'9) and the hood is slightly bigger than I'm used to but tightens well. There is no flushing of any kind with this wetsuit, for all intent you remain dry and the inside of the suit sees very, very limited amounts of water in it.
