A warm suit with easy flexibility, this zip free E-bomb is easier to paddle than any other 4/3 I have ever owned. Prior to this suit, I also had the zipperless 2/2 by Ripcurl, and this one feels only slightly heavier + thicker. Ripcurl has been my preferred brand since 1986, but I do own and buy other products. Ripcurls tend to outlast my O'Neills and Quicksilvers. They are warmer than the Bodygloves I have owned. To be fair, it is slow to dry. So even as a preferred suit, if the waves are good, be ready with a warm back-up for your next session. I use a boot warmer to speed up the process for me.

Found the best price online via skatepro. I ordered the suit and then noticed that they are in Denmark. There was no need to worry as the wetsuit showed up in the states earlier than expected. Would buy from them again.I usually wear a 3/2 but decided to go for a 4/3 this winter. Suit fits me well but the Cuffs seem extra tight. If you normally wear a MT size and you have thick wrists and ankles you might want to try a larger size.

Used it in windsurf sessionby 10°C water and outside temperature. Windy and rainy weather.1,5h on (sometimes in) water with a 5mn break in the beach exposed to the wind, without any cold feeling. In the colder conditions, I use a hooded top, very easy to adust it due to the backzip model I choosed.Wetsuit very confortable, I forgot I wear It after 2mn.I loved my previous 5/4 weatsuit (high end model of other brand), that became less efficient after 10 winters and no lining. For sure, the flash bomb is not the cheaper model of the market, however it is one of the most comfortable and definitely the most efficient in cold condition I've ever got.To be validated in the years. At this time, I'm fully happy with my Flashbomb 5/3 BZ. Thx to RipCurl for this.

So far in about 10 surfs in low °50 water, it's been absolutely amazing. Super comfortable, flexible, and warm! Didn't have that weird new wetsuit stiffness. Much better construction than my last O'Neil Psychotech (which literally fell apart in less than a year).
Overall, a good suit. The neoprene has nice flex which makes for easy in and off and dries fast. My complaint is with the cut of the suit. It's way too tight in the chest. The suit is a large/tall. I'm 6' and weigh 170 LBS. I surf and prone paddleboard.
The best deal I could find on the web and get it in 2 days free shipping!!! Although I had to go through 3 sizes to find the right one ... I am 5'7" at 150lbs and ripcurl suggested I wear a small (too tight and hard to put on), Medium Small (same), Medium Tall (fit great but too long in arms and legs) so I finally tried a Large Small and it was perfect granted (remember I'm 5"7" at 150lbs) this size is for 5'9"-5"11" and 170-190lbs ... and I already surfed in the Jingle-bell-swell and the suit is a damn good fit and minimal restrictive use (after all, it is like another skin layer on you!) and I know this will work in 48-58 degree waters ... and it's January in NC and we now have an Artic-Blast swing through ... yeah, I'm set ... along with a 4mill hood and 7mill ... MoreThe best deal I could find on the web and get it in 2 days free shipping!!! I've been doing business with SwimOutlet for a few years and never (yet) have I been disappointed or mislead by the website or it's staff! The staff thus far have be impeccably professional and very helpful. I come here to do my surf/swim business first! Hope it helped ya'll ... Peace!
The ripcurl flashbomb series of wetsuits is by far the best suit I've worn in 50 years of surfing. They're not just talking when they say its the fastest drying suit on the market. Turned inside out after a session and the quick drying properties are clearly an eye opener, especially if drying for a second sesh. The fit of ripcurl suits are very ergonomically designed and very comfortable and warm.. The E6 material is very stretchy and flexible for easy on and off. Formerly a local resident of the North Shore of Oahu, I have also tested their flashbomd surf tops and spring suit there and found them to be superior against the tradewinds. Hang tight and stay deep, D. Harry Ching
I have been able to use this weather a few times now as our water in BC is still around the 14 degree C mark and too cool to stay in long term without layering. The wetsuit does a great job of keeping water out and maintaining your body temperature. You would hardly know that you are in the water. The back zip works well and I was able to do it up myself with the long drawstring. Pretty easy to get in and out of. My wife is jealous and now wants one of these.
Bought this to replace a 4 year old Flashbomb. Now that I've worn for a few sessions and have some feedback. The tweaks they've made to the entry system are fantastic. Especially way easier to get it off after a session (the old version was truly hard to get out of). The zipper is little sensitive to line up, but it seals up once you do. The suit is very flexible, almost feels like a 3/2. The one bummer is it isn't as warm as my older version. When I put on the old version of the Flashbomb it definitely felt thicker, and the lining like being inside of a plush toy. This suit is definitely more flexible and thinner, but have a feeling warmth is sacrificed as a result...still a very good suit
I am actually quite disappointed and I cannot get a hold of rip curl's customer service. After just a few wears, the stitching is coming undone and there is a hole in the seem on the left hip wear the stitching is coming out. The rubber lining around the ankles also started to peal very quickly.very disappointing. I own two other rip curls and i love themCleanline s GREAT though! They sent stickers and wax with my order.
