I recently took a long break from wearing makeup, and was wanting to get some products that made me look more alive in zoom meetings without looking made-up.For my light-medium skin this won’t work as a lip color, but it’s the most natural blush possible. I don’t just use it for zoom meetings anymore, I actually keep it with my skincare and pat a little into my cheeks as the last step of my morning skincare routine. It looks sort of mauvey in the pot, but on my face it’s like a mix of a natural flush and a slight bronzing effect- and I can build it up if I want to pair it with more than just a tinted lip balm and brow gel.I love that it’s silicone-free, and despite containing coconut oil it doesn’t cause any issues for my breakout-sensitive skin. It also really benefits from being applied with fingers instead of a brush, to really warm it into the skin. I also have the color ‘Modest’ and because it’s less neutral, I can’t blush with it as liberally, but I love to pat a little over lip balm for the MLBB vibe. The only thing I dislike about all of the RMS cream products is that they go rancid so fast. You really only have a couple of months before they start smelling weird. That said, I appreciate that it’s not too full of preservatives and while the price is on the higher side. It’s worth buying 3-4 times a year for how integral it is to my daily routine.

I loved Diabolique for so long, it was my signature lip color for years! I’ll have to try the other shade close to it, illusive, because the formula is beautiful. but there is truly no other lip color on the market with a formula like this and that gorgeous deep plum red shade. Burnt / brown ish berry shades are everywhere, but the plum blue-red that looks deep purple in the pot and applies bright deep red was just classic and so elegant. I’ve tried to find a dupe but nothing has come close. Every lip product in a similar shade is a way too heavy matte lipstick that looks too thick or a balmy product that fades off after 10 minutes because it’s so sheer, or it looks way too purple on the lip. so sad they discontinued that shade, one of my fave makeup products of all ... MoreI loved Diabolique for so long, it was my signature lip color for years! I hope RMS brings back Diabolique in a lip product at some point!! Until then I’ll be hunting for similar shades from other brands, because even though you can’t beat this formula (IMO) the new shade range is so much less desirable now.

This has become my daily driver. Super easy to apply with fingertips and blends very well for how pigmented it is. It’ll probably take forever to finish because a little goes a long way. There’s no sparkle or gloss to it, it’s matte in the jar and before blending, but it seems to melt and ends up with kind of a glow from within. I absolutely love it.But. It’s not a coral pink. This is straight orange. It is sheer, though, so it somehow looks really natural on my fair, warm leaning, olive skin.

This has been my favorite blush for years. Recently I tried to switch it up and opt for the newer clean beauty lines like Saie & Kosas, but they just couldn't compare. RMS does it best and this color is just perfect and easily buildable to your desired shade. The only downside I can think of is that it's hard to use all of the product before the can opening date. A little goes a long way. I really loved the old lip2cheek mini palette with the 4 different shades. It was the perfect amount of product to be used within the opening timeline. But overall, LOVE this product and RMS.
I've been switching to clean beauty and only recently discovered this brand (I don't think it's as well advertised as some of the ones that pop up all over IG). For me, the Lip2Cheek is brilliant, VERY pigmented, and functions as lip/cheek/light eye product. I also have Spell, which is a lovely nude taupe, and that also can be a one-and-done for a nude/barely pink monochromatic look.I have mixed feelings on the packaging.Pros: recycled glass pots and aluminum lids in post-consumer paper boxes = 100% recyclable! How many products can you say that about?Cons: they're heavy. For me, the trade off is worth is as I'm steering clear of brands with ridiculous, non-recyclable packaging. Nothing I can't pronounce!I'm still experimenting with application - have tried a brush, but for Demure and Spell, using my fingers is working just fine. As they're so pigmented, these will last me a long time.
I love the color Illusive, it is exactly as described, and after spending money on a variety of high end and medium end blushes, this is the perfect color, and I am picky, Alos, this creme does look better on my skin. I wore it to work, and immediately someone said something is different, what is it? and I replied my blush. the comments were that it was not saying blush....but the color looked great on me. I felt the same way. However Lost Angel, one is way too light. On my lips it even looks like a frosty white. II wish I could wish I could send it back and get another illusive. This color might look better on a darker skin tone, however, while it looks pink/cherry in the container it goes on clear/whitish and blah on my face that needs color.
I have hair that is strawberry freshly washed tending to browny auburn a couple days in, and fair rosacea prone skin that doesn’t tan, with a ruddy tone compared to my neck. Based off reviews, I tried the colors Smile and Spell.I like Smile on my cheeks, it is a keeper! It’s really not good on my lips; the color collects visibly and is clearly something that has been applied, not my natural coloring.Spell on me looks like my skin tone, as in zero difference, and adding more makes me look…like I smudged dust on my cheek while cleaning house. On my lips, it turns them into the same tone as my overall face. It’s not a good look. My teen tried it as well, and on her non-ruddy fair skin it definitely looks like a straight up dirt streak.I prefer the Fat and the Moon ... MoreI have hair that is strawberry freshly washed tending to browny auburn a couple days in, and fair rosacea prone skin that doesn’t tan, with a ruddy tone compared to my neck. I admit, the color is the thing - would love to be able to buy a sampler pack of all the colors, these weren’t the right ones. Pricey experiment.
I just recently discovered this brand last year and I am obsessed. I love the un cover up concealer and I wanted to dabble in the colors. I bought the shade Illusive, and when I tell you how young and fresh my skin looks. I can't stand most blush because it is too pink for my deep, neutral skin, or too powdery, so I wanted to get into cream blush. Babyyyy, this is it. I love a natural fresh look and I typically just fluff my brows a bit, dab the INCREDIBLE uncover up concealer under my eyes on blemishes, and then a bit of this. I dab some on my cheeks, across the bridge of my nose, dab a small amount onto my eyelids just for some color, and then pat some onto my lips. It doesn't leave me looking red all over, I just look like I am healthy with rosy cheeks that fit ... MoreI just recently discovered this brand last year and I am obsessed. I love that I can use it in multiple ways so my vanity isn't covered with hundreds of different products. I love that the formula is creamy, but not greasy, and just pigmented enough to make it look like my face just LOOKS like this. Absolutely lovely. I'm not stopping until I have every single product. I treat myself to a new product every single month and I have loved everything thus far.
The mixed reviews for RMS Beauty are reasonable. It has taken me some time to understand their products: now that I do, I am fully on board. Some fair warnings:(1) I had a very difficult time getting into the product when I lived in Lake Tahoe. The climate was simply too cold for the ambient temperature to warm up enough for the product to become emollient. Now that I’m in another climate, it’s a whole new story.(2) This product is too dense for me to use with fingers. There are plenty of cream products which lend themselves to blending out with fingertips, RMS products cannot be counted among them: the product is too thick and rich. All in all, I am smitten with the RMS Demure blush. I color-matched it to my natural cheek color after a workout. I find that it works best layered over sunscreen and/or cream foundation, and needs only a touch of very finely milled finishing powder. I wouldn’t use it with a full heavy beat, that’s a personal preference.I apply it with a dense flat-top Bobbi Brown powder brush (pictured), and I make sure to color test it on my hand first. The brush allows for even distribution and edge blurring. This is a great dolly-pink for an energized flush, and I’m looking forward to trying other colors!
My go to shade. I will forever be a lover of these little lip2cheek blushes. They’re easily buildable and hydrate your skin (but it’s makeup). When I have a little more oil to my skin or when it’s humid, I like to mix these with powder blush or powder to keep it in place.I originally discovered this color in the lip2cheek mini palette (bring it back, it was so good)! I loved the smaller amount of product in those palettes. I do find that for me, even with using this product daily, it’s hard to use it up before the expiration date.Overall, I’ve tried some of the other popular clean beauty lines and RMS has the best blushes.
