It's hard to find a solid chardonnay these days that doesn't taste like faux Sauvignon Blanc. This wine has a good balance of flavours. No fruit driven or melon palate. It doesn't have the full on buttery flavours of my favourite chardonnays but it certainly does the trick. Worth drinking soon as the vintage is older.

I bought a glass of this wine from the bar at the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Sydney. I'd previously had a fabulous Chardonnay from Cumulus: ditto for a Merlot tried by my husband. The the rose is a great addition to our cellar.Chill it right down to bring out it's beautiful (but not too sweet),berry flavour and it's crispy after taste.

The Cheers Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is definitely a surprise package. If you enjoy a sub $10 wine (as I do) you are going to love this onefrom Margaret River.Smooth and refreshing, excellent with anything but particularly good with seafood or chicken, this one will please you and impress your friends.I have had some very positive remarks, would almost feel embarrassed to admit what it costs, except I don't.Highly recommended.

Deep plum with brick red hues.BOUQUETThe aroma displays fresh berry fruits including blackberry, raspberry and mulberries.PALATEThe palate displays red berry fruits and fine, tannins which provide a structured Vine.Great fruit characters.well Balanced by integrated oak and which come together to produce a wine with great balance .
2011 Whispering Lizard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River.Using the Jancis Robinson 20 point scoreColour: a surprisingly intense colour, just starting to show some red brick colouring, a good sign of quality ageing. 3/3Aroma: initially a heavy ropiness of high alcohol content, consistent with the 13.7% stated on the label. Once past the initial alcoholic blast a typical floral rose bursts through typical of a cold climate Cabernet. This evolves to a surprising herbaceous note almost green olive, runner bean crisp. 5.5/7Palate: A long lingering palate of a quality wine, with first hint of an astringent spice almost squeaky on my teeth, that slowly mellows out to subtle evolving liquorice and astringent retsina pine. 8.5/10And: lastly a classic and attractive ... More2011 Whispering Lizard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River.Using the Jancis Robinson 20 point scoreColour: a surprisingly intense colour, just starting to show some red brick colouring, a good sign of quality ageing. 3/3Aroma: initially a heavy ropiness of high alcohol content, consistent with the 13.7% stated on the label. An absolute bargain at the justwines price. If you are tired of an big inky toasted chocolate Shiraz, but still want a big lively Australian red, this is it. If I don't buy all the stock first!!!!!
Over many years I have liked cabernet sauvignon rose wines and this wine from Langmeil has been a favourite. This 2017 Bella Rouge rose has lots of flavor and is not sickly sweet like some rose wines on the market. Good bright darker colour, nice cabernet sauvignon nose and great flavour. Good food wine. Highly recommended for those who seek this style. I will continue to buy this wine if Langmeil maintains this style.
Clean with good depth of colour, the nose berry dominant supported by an array of spice. The palate presents an array of berry and plum flavours, with sweet sour complexity and length complementing the depth of its flavour and refreshing acidity. The fruit has eaten the oak and the tannins dont intrude. There are better oz pinots but theyre all more than double the price. A cheapie which surely has a place at the dinner table.
A very smooth Rose. Full of flavour.A lot of Rose these days is too bitter. It was refreshing to find this smooth, almost sweet Rose. Our ex-favourite winery in Mudgee used to make a good Rose, but changed the grape to a horribly bitter flavour. This is not too sweet, not too bitter - just right.
I love the distinctive aroma of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The all round easy to drink crisp texture and the traditional after taste left on the palate is just superb. It is better than some of the NZ SB that I tasted for more that three times the price in the last few years. The 3 dozens I bought will keep me happy for a whileThank you Just Wine for recommending this fine drop at such a good price.
This is my 'fault' but in my defence I did not notice the size of these (187ml) which is smaller than that served on flights - and THAT'S saying a lot LOL.The wine tastes very nice and extremely drinkable. 5 Starts.Rated review at only 2 stars due to how I feel I was duped into purchasing a bottle many times smaller that the std size.Hope this helps someone.
