I bought this pouch for the purpose of keeping my Rode NT2-A in it when travelling with it. The microphone fits fine, and the pouch protects it well. Not much more to say about it than that.

I got the Rode Zip Pouch to be able to use for many purposes. It can certainly be used to carry a microphone however it is also halpful to be able to safely carry many small items and like my other Rode products it is well made and well worth having. The Zip Pouch is a wonderful addition to make life easier, thank you.
I use it to store my Rode Videomic Pro safe in my video bag with my video camera, lapel mics, power supplies, and cables. It keeps the VideoMic Pro safe and secure. It is a somewhat snug, but the mic fits.
The bag is not very high quality, and appears to be pleather and a bit lopsided with the main seam not sewn tightly (I can see daylight through it when I hold it open). Disappointing, considering the excellent reputation of Rode.
I store my Rode NT1 mic in this bag. It's pretty much just your standard run-of-the-mill bag. No glamor. If you're into name brand items, then it is nice to have the RODE logo embedded on the bag. Other than that, this isn't anything too fancy. I would have liked to see a bit more padding. I don't necessarily feel safer now that my mic is in this bag. Overall, I knew what I was getting and I'm pleased with the purchase. If you are looking for high-end protection of your mic, invest in a case rather than a bag.
Well-made. Fits Rode NT1 with a little space to spare
I travel frequently with a bunch of microphones, and not all of them can come on the trip with me in their own bulky containers. So I bought a bunch of these, and I pop my microphones in there when they need to come with me on a trip. These pouches provide decent protection against dust, dirt and light impacts. Also very handy for microphones that came just in a cardboard box, so without their own plastic box or pouch. These days I leave those microphones in these Rode pouches on the shelf, so that when I need to go out for a recording session, they are ready to go, and all I need to do is to grab them. I wouldn't put my most expensive mics in these, but good for backup mics. Great bang for the buck.
