Roland GO:PIANO88 88-Key Digital Piano

AMS has the best of the best instruments. I've bought 6 total over the past few years. From bass guitar to acoustic electric to amps, etc. Bought this piano for my little boy. Trying to have him grow up around multiple instruments and varieties of music. This 88 Key digital is worth WAY more than AMS offers it for. Amazing deal and the piano sounds beautiful. Perfect feel upon pressing every key. The only thing better is to hear him hitting keys randomly from somewhere in the house just out of the blue.....and then, the giggles ensue. Oh.. the giggles. ( He's two, but mind you this is a professional model. Great piano, plays and sounds great. Speakers sound good just not loud enough for me. Made nice, I was impressed for the price. Has nice features. I have had it now for a couple of months, and love it.If you want something nice without breaking the bank, this is a great find. The notes feel good and play well. I plan to hook it up to amp or pa system. The piano would also be great for someone just learning to play. Came with sustain pedal and music stand. I have alway liked Roland products and like all I have ever owned, this one too is a great find. Made of good quality materials. Very easy to use, and was easy to set up. To sum it up, I would purchase again if needed and would recommend to anyone looking for inexpensive Roland product. It has that great Roland sound.

88 keys and fits in a small room. I bought it specifically for the MIDI Bluetooth. Quick note; iOS will not find the device and you have to use the Roland app. Once you do garage band and other apps will recognize that the device is the. It’s hammer action but not weighted. This won’t bother novice players but will intermediate to advanced players. I bought it specifically for midi but the sounds are adequate when played through decent speakers/headphones. The internal speakers are lacking. I would recommend for beginners or small apartments when on a budget.

Best in its price range. LOADED with features!

I love that this is a full size 88 key digital piano. Not weighted keys, but still full size. It’s light enough that I can carry it to church and back home and not feel like it’s a strain. The built in speakers are great and the Bluetooth connection to my iPad opens up to LOADS of features. I can play the background music through the onboard speakers along with the actual piano sound which is amazing and its got great learning and practicing tools. I’m so excited with this piano as opposed to some of the others I’ve tried. Definitely a value.

For beginners or reference

I am an avid keyboard player and do home-studio recording. The GO 88 was a perfect match for my daughter in her college dorm. It is light, portable with speaker and she can hook up headphones. Outside of that... there is little use for it. If you are even semi-serious about music - this is NOT for you. The speakers are cheap sounding the piano sounds are mediocre. Plastic key feel - not weighted action. For a practice or beginner keyboard a great option. Certainly not for gigs.

Great product for anyone at any age!

whether you are a beginner or not. This portable piano is great for travelling to literally anywhere with its long lasting bulit in battery pack! This piano is packed with great speakers and with great sound quality!!At first, It kind of put me off without the weighted keys, BUT!! It doesn't really matter to me, as I have gotten used to it and really suited my taste!I always say! Buy the pianos that make you happy! And this piano certainly did for me!!One thing to improve would be, include more sound features instead of just 4!

Great starter piano

This is a great piano if you are new to playing. While the the keys are not hammer weighted (and no where in the description does it claim to be.... that is why its $499 , hammer weighted will come in at least a $699 piano) they feel great.The unit has good basic sounds (check out the video) and is really portable.Roland have a long and strong reputation for well made products which is why musicians for years have used their products on stage and in the studio,Having played many current versions of these starter piano's including this one I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Not sure if I'm going to keep this keyboard

I had went to two GC stores to demo this piano. Neither store had one in stock and after 3 months of trying to find one, I gave up. Then the price was reduced by $100 and since you have such a great return policy, I decided to order it and give it a try. I am an acoustic piano player ( I also own 3 Roland keyboards: RD300, D50, and DS88). I was hoping the GO88 had more of a weighted action but it doesn't. And I do not like the touch sensitive action on the GO88. I will give it a few more days before I decide to keep it. Other than the action (or lack of), it does what it says and is find for a beginner.

Roland Go Piano 61

Well featured product. Easy to use. Light and portable. I bought Go Piano 61 to play piano anywhere on battery power and to use as a wireless midi controller. Excellent on board sounds. WIDI has no noticeable latency. Action is a little stiff and bouncy (nothing like a good digital piano} but pretty good considering it's an unweighted and non-hammer action keyboard. Headphone socket is in the wrong place (middle back instead of at either end) so the lead trails over the keys. Speakers are lacking bass end but worth having for when no amplification or headphones available. Excellent keyboard for my needs.

The sound quailty and playability is awesome for this price

This just has a keyboard feel, no weighted keys, but it doesn't matter, I have 2 other keyboards like that already, I was looking for something more portable. The key feel is still great and it's so lightweight and compact, it's easy to store if you don't have a lot of space. The piano sound is awesome, comparable in my opinion to the more expensive models. Roland did awesome with this one. It's so compact it's easy for me to hide too, cause my girlfriend doesn't like that I'm starting to collect keyboards, lol. It plays and sounds awesome, has a nice sustain pedal with a firm feel to it, comes with a music stand too, a plus.
