I absolutely LOVE my KC400! It captures the true tones that I desire coming from my boards. And it's extremely powerful. I would definetely get another one!!!

I love the improvements Roland has done to this amp. Sounds fantastic and it's very powerful. Well worth the price. Perfect size and loud enough for my needs though it is a little heavy but I can handle it fine.

I was disappointed with the overall sound as a stand alone amp. I play a Nord Stage 3, and was hoping to get a better mono sound than I actually did. However, I bought this to use in conjunction with another speaker to obtain a true stereo sound. Of course, that can also be accomplished via Roland's Stereo Link and two Roland KC-400 amps.

This is the perfect amp for what I needed, which is a three keyboard rig. When I'm practicing alone at home, channel 1 can be used as a balanced XLR mic input and it sounds fantastic for vocals if needed. It seems very sturdy but still comes in under 50 pounds, not at all awkward and fairly easy to move around for gigs, rehearsals, and studio sessions. The 1/4" stereo line out is fantastic for gigs, I can finally control my own mix and the house gets a single stereo feed through two direct boxes. In tight spaces, I put it on an angled amp stand so that it's firing at my ears. Highly recommended.
So far I love this amp. It's a bit heavy but packs a lot of power. I Intentionally bought the larger amp instead of upgrading in the future. Still tweaking my setting with it and my keyboard. I'm also running my mic'ed harmonica through it. Sounds pretty awesome.
Ive used a Roland KC 350 for years. 4 channels, 120 Watt Amplification, easy to carry, very versatile. The KC 400 is the new and improved version. Great Amp, worth the price.
I use the amp for performances in small settings and home studio and practice sessions. The sound and power is fantastic. I use it with my Nord Stage 3. The stereo inputs are perfect for the Nord. The size and weight make it extremely easy to travel with.
I have been looking to find a good sounding keyboard amp that can compete with the drums, electric guitar and bass in my band that did NOT weigh/cost a ton. Just got the new KC-400 and played last night. AMAZING. Not only was the sound great, but this thing is powerful. I barely had it turned up, and I had plenty of clear volume. The best part? At under fifty pounds it is easy to load in and out- thanks Sweetwater!
The Roland KC 400 is my first keyboard amp which I'm using with my new Yamaha YC61. As well as producing more volume than the Yamaha PA I've been using in my music room, the KC 400 has more bass and increased clarity in the trebles. And it's not too heavy or too big to carry up and down the stairs and lift into the boot of my car.
I used to own two KC-550s about ten years ago, but ended up selling them because they were quite heavy. After nearly ten years, I decided to give the KC-400s a try. They are lighter than the KC-550s (although not by much, but better nonetheless), and the sound quality seems to be more pristine than the KC-550s due to Rolands re-working of the electronics. The subwoofer is powerful and the tweeters sound clear as a bell, and everything in between is sublime! I love these KC-400s!
