40 something mom relives teenager years and loving these on the Chicago lakefront!

So glad I picked these up as a gift for myself for my 40 something bday. I havent done this for almost 30 years and wondered if I could do it again. Luckily, we have perfectly paved run/bike paths that are miles and miles long in Chicago. It proved to be the perfect fit for these roller blades. First time out I went for an hour and I feel great the next day! It brought me back to my youth and I cannot wait to do it again. These are really well-made, much more supportive and higher quality than I remember as a teen.

Amazing Skates

I bought these skates around 5 months ago when they were around 40% off and I assumed that the skates were bad and the company was trying to get rid of it. However, when I got them, they were amazing. I’m a beginner skater but the support the skate gives on the ankles is amazing. It’s crazy how my ankles feel perfectly fine after a 3 hour session of practice. I totally would recommend if you’re first starting off skating. My normally a size 5.5 in men (for normal shoes) and I ordered a 6 in men (for skates) and they fit perfectly. I don’t recommend to get a size down because it might cause discomfort so if anything get a size up.

Comfy, but not supportive for heavier skater

I purchased these on sale on a whim to give me more opportunities to be active. I've ice-skated and roller skated lots, but never had tried inline skating. I'm a heavier person (200 lbs), and these skates don't provide the stability and support needed for a heavier person. When I first stood up in them, I was surprised that I actually felt the narrowness of the frame underfoot. I've never felt that with ice skates. I also sized up one size and they fit my feet and ankles fine, but are a bit narrow for my (wide) calves.I tried to skate in them 4 times now (inside only) and, though I'm getting comfortable in-line skating in general, I can tell that these just aren't going to work for me. I've since read that hard-shell skates with metal frames would be more suitable for skaters who are either (1) interested in more serious skating, or (2) have a bit more weight on them. These might be fine if you're 16 - 25 (more muscle mass, flexible) and just want something to toodle around in occasionally. They are certainly soft and comfy, and I think a younger, lighter version of me might have really enjoyed them.

Great but one thing.

I bought this today and they were pretty good. I read the reviews and I was impressed. What I didn't read about was the downside. They ride smooth. But of course when you buy a new pair of skates the wheels are always going to be a little to tight to pick up any reasonable speed. When I asked the skating rink skate technician (yes, surprisingly that's a thing) to loosen the wheels he informed me that due to the build of the skate he wasn't unable to loosen much. He told me that since the plastic around the wheels are so close there wasn't much leverage. SO, I wasn't able to pick up a decent amount of speed. If that's a dealbreaker for me. For the price I bought it at I was dissatisfied when I wasn't able to adjust it to my personal liking. The bottom of the skate is ... MoreI bought this today and they were pretty good. The bottom of the skate is quite comfy IF you're not standing and actually skating but the back of the skate is kind of tight and hard abasing the ankle no matter how safely you loosen the buckle. I will be returning only because I would like an skate with more leverage and customizability. I think a skate shop would be a better option for buying skates anyway. But if you're ok with low speed and still learning these are good for you.

I love these skates! So comfortable + smooth
15 July 2020

I purchased these to replace the Bladerunners I got last summer (which were a size too big). The Zetrablade skates fit true to shoe size. The boots are a lot smaller and sleeker looking than my old skates, they are less bulky + super comfortable, and the ride is really smooth, even when I'm on the road. I am very pleased with these skates. I've had 3 other pairs of inline skates prior (K2 and 2 Rollerblade brands), but these are by far my favorites.Oh, and the skates arrived super fast... I got them within 3 days of ordering!I am an advanced intermediate skater (with 20+ years experience skating), and although these skates are for "beginners," they are perfect for me. I skate to the beach and also on the paved bike trails. Very happy customer here!

Love these!!
16 May 2020

I ordered these to ship to my house yesterday - and they already arrived this morning! We’ve already taken our first trip out with these >24 hours of purchasing them! I definitely recommend these, especially for the price. They are slim through the foot, which I love. I tried on another pair and sent them back because they were wide in the foot and I like a snug fit. I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit is perfect. The ride was smooth and they are quite comfy. And I can’t speak highly enough of how great our experience was ordering from Dicks! So impressed!

Not like my last pair of rollerblade brand
9 December 2020

I bought these to replace my old pair of rollerblade brand skates which I had for years and glided well and were comfortable. I remember those were about 100$ many many years ago. Needed to get new ones as feet changed size after having kids. Bought these with msrp 169.99 thinking they would be comparable. I felt like they fit (I'm a size 8.5 and bought 9). But the feeling skating was not the same. It was difficult, didn't glide smoothly. My feet didn't feel like they were sitting in the bottom as I pushed off, almost like when I was pushing off too go each time, my foot felt angled, and in a weird position. I'm not sure if it's the years I haven't skated, or the quality of product. But I will try a higher model in store next time.

Skates are very comfortable. I would classify myself as a beginner, even though I learned to skate when I was young. I am 40 years old and decided to introduce skating as another way to work out other than running. They are FAST. I have trouble slowing down going downhill and Im still working on it.

This product was a great purchase!

I recently purchased this pair of rollerblades from Dick’s Sporting Goods after careful consideration of other brands. When they arrived I took them out for a spin. The smoothness of the wheels made it easy to maneuver across the bumpy sidewalks. Accelerating was effortless, reaching top speeds in a few seconds. Stopping with the brake was something picked up easily in a few attempts.Even after multiple long rides, the rollerblades had held up well. The material used to make this product is durable. While it wasn’t too breathable, in all other aspects the rollerblade material proved to be high quality. The area around your ankles provides very nice, solid support while using the rollerblades. This makes it easier to transport, which means it’s more likely you will want to take them everywhere! These rollerblades are great for multiple types of users! Whether you just want to rollerblade recreationally or you are a pro, these would make your experience enjoyable. They are specifically women’s rollerblades, which means they are customized to fit a woman’s feet. They come in a few color choices: black and pink, and plain black. They have a nice look about them which means you would be riding in style while also having great support. The clips are user friendly and can be fastened in a short time. You have the options of adjusting multiple parts in order to get the best fit for your feet.Overall this product had high satisfaction. A few details could be modified to make the experience better, like the breathability of the material and color choices, but the positives outweigh the negatives by far. Anyone looking for quality rollerblades at an affordable price should check these out. You will be able to have fun rollerblading everywhere while knowing you are getting high quality support.
