I bought two for my nephews. It seemed like a cool gadget. I received them in a few weeks but there was no info in the box. I was not sure how they worked but found information online. Coincidentally my iPhone battery kept losing charge and I thought about the gifts which I have not given to my nephews so I used one to charge my phone to my iPad. It is fantastic! I have been using it since then and need to order another one, I am not giving this up! I am not sure about the data saving part of the gizmo. Better instructions would help a lot. Very cool gizmo.

It's a great product. The part that heats up emanates a very plasticky smell which is quite bothersome, but I can get used to it.The magnet is SOLID, and I love that. The feel of the product is quite smoothHowever, the packaging that the product comes in is quite flimsy, I do appreciate that it's plain cardboard and can be disposed or recycled properly, but it didn't seem to do the job of holding the product well at all. It arrived quite crumpledNo Other complaints for now!(Review imported from backer.tools)

I like the sleek design of the items I bought. The Tau portal chargers could be improved overtime; the silicon for the cables are difficult to pull out and stow back, resulting the top part of the silicon that’s attached to the lighting cable being torn. It would also be good to have an indicator to tell how much battery source the charger has after charging the device.

Firstly, my first shipment was lost, and I had to follow up multiple times before someone could provide an ETA on my package. Key takeaway: keep on top of your shipment. I ordered the Edge Kit and the Tau—I love the sleekness of the products for my MacBook Pro. Feedback: I there was more than one of the magnetic circles for my phone. Where does one get this if they need another one?
Purchased the Tau mobile charger and love the design and functionality. Should provide about 40% in an emergency to a standard phone. The cables are great and are versatile, though a bit hard to get in and out of the housing. The clip also could do with being stronger. It has popped off twice already in a week when pulling my keys out from a (crowded) backpack. I have tried to remedy this with a different attachment to my key hook. The incharge X is fantastic - can charge anything from anywhere, and it loops onto my key hook. The metal pull out adapters feel high quality and durable. The magnets and the cable cover keeps it in place slidly and there is no risk if this falling off a keyhook or damaging the cable connectors. Would love if this rubber cap was also ... MorePurchased the Tau mobile charger and love the design and functionality. Should provide about 40% in an emergency to a standard phone. Would love if this rubber cap was also magnetic in a way for extra strength, but for now is plenty tight.Edit: Also want to say that the magnetic charging block for the Tau is quite strong, and easily supports a standard car key, some extra keys, the incharge x, and a titanium keyring. No risk of it falling out for me. Slick way to charge and keep your keys organized.
TAU is my third product I have purchased from Rolling Square. The other two were Edge - The First Modular Work From Home Kit, and the inCharge 6 - The Swiss Army Knife of Cables. These were purchased via the indiegogo Crowdfunding website. All I can say is they have done it again by developing a quality product for our new normal mobile work life. Not only are are they quality well designed products. Rolling Square have an amazing Customer Service Team who will go the extra mile to help.
The product is really very useful, easy to install and versatile. I am using it to attach a portable screen (very thin) to the laptop to have a second screen. It doesn't move, it holds very well. It's amazing.
Truly unique products, well-built and good customer support! I don't recall where I came upon the inCharge X cable...but I'm glad I checked out their website. First off, the cable is truly unique...I also couldn't believe the lightning cable end doubled as micro-usb end...never seen that before. I wasn't sure I could plug it in to both so reached out to chat with customer service. The chat came a few hours later but overall I was pleased with their service and again, kind of shocked that the lightning end could do both...but it does. The build quality of the cable and the TAU charger I purchased seem solid, really nice...I'm very pleased with the purchase. The TAU is a great design as well--both are only a few weeks old but again, I'm very pleased with both!
Very good! really useful and good charging capacity as well as light weight, a few minor improvements needed:- The black charging dock came with a white lead, not aesthetic, should be matching the colour of the dock. The white charging dock came with a white lead.- There were no usb plugs with the docks, something I would expect when buying a new item.- The metal on the charger feels a little flimsy and is malleable, will this bend out of shape over time? perhaps attach a more solid loop(Review imported from backer.tools)
I will share my honest opinion about this little gadget.First, if I am not mistaken, Rolling Square is a Swiss company. Didn't meet my expectation for Swiss standards. As an idea and project are very cool BUT overpriced. The biggest for me issue is the build quality. Looks and feels like a very Very cheap Chinese thing.at least they need to improve the build quality or decrease the price for15 CHF. this is an honest price for this gadget.
