Extraordinary how it stands the test of time considering it was published in 1965. The authors definitely broke new ground in writing police procedurals. It was also an insight into policing at a time without digital technology of any kind and just a good read.

Really good story and series of novels.
Superbly written and part of the Beck series of novels. This series triggered the Nordic Noir genre and is still unsurpassed.
This was not well written. Slow moving and bogged down in technical jargon.
