Premium Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil (150ml) by Rosita is a pure, nutrient-rich oil derived from wild Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua) harvested sustainably in Norway. This product is produced using traditional methods to ensure the preservation of its natural vitamins and fatty acids. The extraction process is gentle and does not involve heat, chemicals, or mechanical pressure, maintaining the oil's original qualities. Rosita's cod liver oil is a natural source of essential fatty acids, including omega-3 (EPA and DHA), which contribute to heart and brain health. It is also rich in fat-soluble vitamins A and D, which support immune function, vision, and bone health. Each 5ml serving provides approximately 395 IU of vitamin A, 3.7mcg (148 IU) of vitamin D, 443mg of EPA, and 605mg of DHA. This product is subjected to stringent quality controls to ensure its purity and safety. It is tested for contaminants and heavy metals to comply with European regulations. The oil is stored in dark glass bottles to protect it from light exposure and preserve its integrity. Rosita's cod liver oil is best consumed directly or mixed with water or juice. It should be stored in a cool, dark place and refrigerated after opening. It is recommended to consume within three months of opening to maintain freshness. This cod liver oil is non-GMO and does not contain any artificial additives, flavors, or preservatives. It is suitable for individuals seeking a natural supplement to support overall health.

A Difficult Product to Review

You folks at Rosita have been very persistent in asking for my feedback on your product. Which I find curious, because the product I bought; Cod Liver Oil is a very long term game, and thus challenging to review immediately with any accuracy. I bought it to give to my infant son in hopes it will aid the growth of his body and brain, as the studies say it will. If I were reviewing the cost, it feels a little high, but I don't know what processes are required to make extra virgin cod liver oil and I trust your process and product are superior, hence the high price. But as for my experience using the item? I put a few drops in my son's baby food. Beyond that it could be olive oil for all I know. I guess I'll write a second review in 18ish years once my son is old ...Ā MoreYou folks at Rosita have been very persistent in asking for my feedback on your product. My recommendation to you, Rosita, if you read all of this, you need to craft your feedback questions differently. Because the 'experience' of using cod liver oil isn't exactly the same as a motorcycle or game console.

Awesome product!

I’ve been taking it for about 4 months or so, and will never stop. The most noticeable change is my skin. I have always had pretty clear skin and a good complexion, but the CLO has made it noticeably better! Shortly after starting to take it, my husband started frequently commenting on how smooth and ā€œcreamyā€ my face looked! While I can’t really pinpoint other noticeable changes, I am able to notice that I feel different if I forget to take CLO for a few days.I don’t like the taste, but have figured out a good workaround. Not well enough to justify the fishy flavor or the cost. About eight months ago, I started taking VCLO to alleviate autoimmune symptoms and improper liver detox (extreme fatigue, body aches, arthritis in my hands and shoulders, food intolerances, etc). I came across NutraPro and it was so helpful that I feel as though I’m near remission or at least in a sustainable place health-wise. Prior to this, it was not sustainable long-term. It was awful. I thought I’d try Rosita because of an article Chris Kresser wrote re Rosita EVCLO. I started taking one teaspoon of Rosita EVCLO daily and noticed my arthritis symptoms returning. Point being, if I at least maintained my gains or improved them, the cost and fishy flavor would be worth it. I won’t be buying this product anymore, but I will try the ratfish oil to see if that is more effective than NutraPro. If yes, then I’ll gladly stick with Rosita, but if not, then I’ll transition back to the NutraPro VCLO. I greatly respect Rosita’s transparency and process of obtaining their EVCLO, but ultimately I will use the product that is effective for my symptoms. (The flavor truly is incredibly fishy tasting though.)

Love Rosita Cod Liver Oil

I have been taking Rosita Cod Liver Oil for five months. I love this oil!!! I do not find this oil bad tasting in anyway. I take in first thing in the morning and drink a glass of water after taking one teaspoon of the oil. After reading reviews the Rosita employees said to leave the oil out of refrigerator for a few minutes and than shake the bottle. This works great. My arthritis swelling has gone down after taking it for several months. Even my joints stopped hurting after taking Rosita cod liver oil. I'm 77 years old and my body feels 30 years younger after taking it. I also put it on skin injuries. It heals the skin fast applying the oil to skin cuts.I now recommend this cod liver oil to anyone that listens. It's the best on the market. Purchased to help treat inflammatory, cystic acne
27 January 2023

I'll try to keep this short as i can because my skin care journey has been years of despair, but I'd like to share how this product has helped me.I started heavily researching dietary changes that I could make to improve my painful, inflammatory and deep cystic acne. I knew I had to think of something quick because my derm wanted to put me on Accutane. It dawned on me that Accutane is a highly concentrated vitamin A derivative. So why not ingest it naturally to see what happens ?Well, I began taking the cod liver oil January 8th 2023. I started with a HALF teaspoon everyday for 1 week. My skin was already improving with much lesser redness and minimal Infammation. I decided to increase to 1 teaspoon daily. I did this for approx 2 weeks. My skin cleared even further and what I was left with was my hyperpigmentation that I've always had. It appears to be fading ever so slightly.I did notice 2 things taking 1 teaspoon daily. My skin became itchy (but no flaking or peeling), and it turned red very easily. For example, if I itched my hand or arm, it would be briiight red for a hot minute , then fade away. Given these 2 things, I decided to scale back to 1 teaspoon, every OTHER day. I think this is the sweet spot.No itchiness, no hyper redness. Skin still looking great, although I did start my period and I got a single pimple near my jaw line. Hormone fluctuations, what can you do?Now. Bear in mind, I've tried many things prior to introduction of cod liver oil. My most recent changes are as follows:-drink organic spearmint tea , twice per day-remove added sugar-eliminate processed/refined carbohydrates-reduce/eliminate seed oils-begin cod liver oil-eat a mainly meat focused diet with minimal veg and fruitThese steps were done one a time. And we're given weeks, if not months for each change in order to isolate its affect. With every change, my skin just got better and better. The cod liver oil, so far as I can tell, is the icing on the cake. Many people do not want to take pharmaceuticals, as they have many bad side effects and can be costly. If you have struggled for as many years as I have with inflammatory acne, I urge you to ask your derm options. If you do not have sensitivities/allergies to the things i mentioned above, I highly recommend giving it a try.Remember:-ONE change at a time to isolate the effects-allow enough time (weeks to months)-be patient-do your research as I have doneAnother note: I am a 31 y/o female, not on birth control and not pregnant. I highly advise you speak to your derm/OBGYN prior to starting cod liver oil if any of the above pertain to you.Start low dose and increase over time. Vitamin A toxicity is a real thing so be mindful of that. More does not mean better results. This is a high dose of vit A in this product. If you are trying this product to improve your skin as I have, I truly hope it yields results for you as it has for me.I will continue to purchase this product so long as no issues arise.

I have been afraid, but wanting, to try Rosita CLO for years. Afraid because of the expense & the taste, but wanting to because I believe that CLO is a superfood and one very tangible way I can practice self care every day.I finally made the leap this spring with a subscription. I'm only on bottle number two, but I feel I can give a valuable review already. One thing is: I have accepted the taste. Most powerful medicines don't taste inherently good, so I trust Rosita in this sense. It doesn't taste inherently good. It tastes like what it is: oil from a wild fish liver. And I have my orange slice ready to chase it. It becomes a simple mediation and moment of gratitude in my day. I no longer mind the taste. I may get a few fish burps after, but it's negligible. I eat a meal after and then brush my teeth.Another thing is: everyone in my household recently got a mega cold and pink eye. I got some cold symptoms, but they went away faster than everyone else's and I also never got pink eye. I am the only one taking the CLO right now. That was amazing proof for me.The price is nothing when I consider all the health benefits it is giving me, far beyond the obvious.Thank you!

I’ve been using it everyday for about two weeks. I actually started taking too much, so I’ve consumed one bottle and am just about done with the second bottle. My thinking was more would be better, but am now taking just a teaspoon after my first very low carb meal of the day. The reviews were great and gave me the info I was looking for. I’m in my early 70’s and remember taking cod liver oil in my youth. So I’m glad to have found the best product on the market, thanks to Dr. Berg mentioning that he uses Virgin cod liver oil. I’m a Vietnam vet and tried to apply for your military discount, but it won’t let my dd214 to go through. Any help would be very much appreciated, so I can get some more of this wonderful product. Thanks, Bob.

Tastes great, good quality
26 July 2022

We have been taking this for about a month now. I used a well-known fermented cod liver oil brand years ago, and it tasted horrific and gave me awful indigestion. It was very expensive, and I ended up throwing several bottles out after concerns arose that it was rancid and of questionable quality. I quit using cod liver oil for several years after that experience but have started the Root Cause Protocol and decided to give Rositas a try. It definitely has a fishy odor/taste, but it's not rancid/putrid, and it does not give me any indigestion. I am easily able to get it down with an adrenal cocktail. I can't say I've noticed any health effects yet. Hoping it helps increase our immune system and not get sick as often. So far, so good.

What I’ve Been Looking For!
17 August 2022

I have been on the hunt for a quality fish oil for years and accidentally stumbled upon this priceless elixir online. I use the word ā€œpricelessā€ because you absolutely CANNOT put a ā€˜price’ on your health and well-being. My motto: Spend good money on what you put into your body now so you don’t have to spend your retirement/life-savings on medical bills later. Yes, this oil is more expensive than others; however, that is because this IS actual fish-oil, not a cheapened watered down version with additives and fillers. I was a little concerned with how it would taste, but to my pleasant surprise it simply tastes like smoked oil kind of like smoked-salmon. I actually look forward to pouring myself a spoonful each morning and I’m afraid of running out so I’ve added a ...Ā MoreI have been on the hunt for a quality fish oil for years and accidentally stumbled upon this priceless elixir online. Add this to your daily regimen. You will start to notice positive results in your energy, hair, skin, nails etc. the list could go on and on! Thank you Rosita for making this incredible gift of nature available to all of us! I look forward to this relationship for years to come haha!
