Got these for my daughter. she's 5'5" and anything other than high waisted pants don't work for her. It was hard to find high waist snow pants, but these truly are and she loves them. Great fit, they've been keeping her dry, fit well over her ski boots.

We only had to size up one size, but then of course the waist is big. Thank goodness for belt loops! The length is a little long if you are 5’4” or under. The quality and style of the pant are good. It’s great for people that run warm and just want a base layer on underneath rather than full insulation.

I haven't tested these on the mountain yet, but my first impressions, very impressive. They are a slim fit pant, but are stretch and provide a lot of comfort. As they are higher wasted, when sitting or bending over they don't dig in like some other pants do. I did end up going up a size though as i wanted to comfortably wear thermal leggings underneath. Very comfortable, very flattering. Great pants. Wish they had more colours!
The Roxy Rising High are my all time favorite pants. In fact, I like them so much I bought 3 pairs. They are super high waisted so I never have to worry about my back showing when I bend over to strap in. The fit is on the more tailored side and flares out at the bottom, which looks great. My only complaints are:1. It runs really small in the thigh area so I had to size up (which is not a big deal)2. The 2 zippered pockets are super small, definitely not deep enough to fit a phone so I took mine to a local tailor and asked to make the pockets bigger/deeper.Otherwise, these are a great pair of pants.
These snowboard/ski pants are amazing! They fit like a glove, with all the movement you need to power down the hill in style.They have just the right amount of insulation to keep you warm without adding bulk. The pockets and zippers are functional as well as stylish. In fact, they were so cute I didn't feel like I needed to change out of them when I got back to town and went out for dinner. I am 5'9" and after reading other reviews I ordered a size up and glad I did. I have another pair of Roxy pants in small but ordered a medium this time and they fit perfectly.
I'm so upset with these pants. I bought them because they're very stylish and form fitting, however they are not at all waterproof. I'm a pretty decent snowboarder. The only time I sit down is to strap my board on, but my butt always ends up getting wet, even when I sit down for just 30 seconds. It makes my whole day miserable. Snowboarding with a wet butt makes your body more susceptible to the cold where it's almost unbearable. I've had these pants for a one season and I can't wait to save enough to buy a different pair. Pease do not make the same mistake I did. I can't tell you how much I hate these pants and how reluctant I spent so much and couldn't return them.
The ski pants is true to the size for very slim fit; I'm 5'11'', 140lbs, and I can fit a medium weight base layer legging into M size (if you stature is about the same, don't go for L, it'll be way too loose, almost like regular/goofy fit). The material is also fairly stretchy, unlike some more waterproof/hardcore surface. It's not insulated with down/etc. but it has an inner fleece and is relatively warm. The design is really good, if you are looking for something flattering and can show off your leg.
I haven't tried yet in snow because the sizing is a mess, I am always small - medium in ski pants at least in NF, Columbia ect., and this is my first time trying Roxy and they run so small. I am 5'6 135 with thighs cause I am Latina and neither the medium was good. I am exchanging for second time to get large.
Initially the pants I ordered were a bit tight but changing to a larger size could not have been easier and a most pleasant experience as I received the return within 3 days. The new pants leave a little wiggle room whaih is just perfect and I just love them, they fit well and especially because as they are navy blue and not the usual black and go superbly with my Roxy Ski Jacket.And I would be remiss if I did not point what a pleasure it was to make this order with Evo- they were the most friendly, helpful, obliging and efficient staff I have dealt with in online shopping and I am an almost daily online shopper.
