I am a professional dog walker and often recommend this food to my clients who have older dogs. I feed it to my 12 year old lurcher - he loves it and is still bounding up mountains at the weekends like a pup. It is great stuff.I hate watching older dogs suffer from joint problems, bad breath, flatulence, digestive problems and runny eyes all because they are being fed garbage that is full of 'meat and animal derivatives'.

Our 9 years old Irish setter has been brought up on Royal canin dog food from being a young puppy through to his stage in life. Royal canin suits his digestive system and we have had very few issues with him.I am pleased to recommend all forms of Royal Canin Dog food.

A RECOMMENDED DOG PRODUCT

Been using Royal Canin Maxi 8 Senior Wet Food for about a year now. Have a Bordeaux 11 yrs. I am SO invested in her health as she has Osteoarthritis in her rear legs & enlarged liver. I am doing EVERYTHING I can for a "longer life with my daughter".

Dense & nutrient rich

10 year old Harlow the pointer cross monches happily on this daily for the last 18 months. I found the serving size recommendation on the back WAY too much though, it recommended 4 cups for a dog my size and she gained so much weight so we halved it and it’s much more appropriate

Great product but expensive

We have two old Golden Retrievers with sensitive bowels, and this is the only product we've found that produces firm stools. Wheat based products like those made by Purina are the worst.

Price increase ?

From September 2022 to May 2023 I purchased 4 x 15 kg bags of this product from you at $133.24 delivered. The latest purchase this month saw an increase to $158 which seemed extremely excessive.

Royal Canin 8 + dry food

My dog enjoys this food although when he has tummy upset we go to Royal Canin Low Fat Gastrointestinal. I will stay with Royal Canin. 🐾🐾

Way too expensive now

Hi guys just want to know why the price on this product has skyrocketed? Surely u can do a better affordable price? And I'm not the only person who has complained about this , have noticed it's not just this item but many others .People cant afford theses awesome products for their pets anymore, this is why I have stopped buying it

Worth it

Had my Aussie bulldog on the optimum adult and he had the worst gas ever. For a while I just assumed it was the breed, but after using this product I realised it was the food. He eats more of this and his stinky farts are no more. Definitely recommended .
