We have a super picky drama queen chihuahua at home. One day he will gobble down a food, and the next day he’s turning his nose up at it. When he goes for a day refusing to eat his choice of regular food I break out the Royal Canin chihuahua wet food, because it’s the one wet food he always eats. I would love to give it to him every day but it’s prohibitively expensive so I keep it for such emergencies! Also we travel to Europe a couple of times a year to spend time with family there and it’s important to me that my dogs’ food be available locally since they always travel with us, fortunately we can get Royal Canin pretty much everywhere unlike most brands. My dogs always look healthy when I feed them Royal Canin.

We have chihuahuas. When we got our first this dog food was recommended by the vet. Helps them maintain a healthy look and weight.after a year we switched to adult and he lost weight so we went back on the puppy kind again. One of the best things about this dog food for chihuahuas is it cuts down on pooping none stop. Great dog food.

Best dry food for Chihuahuas

I have 3 Chihuahuas, eldest being 11 and 12 years old that I brought up from puppies and a rescued Chihuahua who is 5. The rescue dog had a skin condition when I got him due to eating cheap food with nasty ingredients but changing his diet to high quality Royal Canin has made him look like a different dog, he looks so healthy since eating this food. Royal Canin is the only dry dog food all 3 of my dogs will eat. They refuse any other brand, I have tried everything to give them some variety but always come back to Royal Canin as its their utter most favourite and the only biscuits they dont refuse or waste. Smells like a chicken roast dinner so not repulsive at all when opening a giant bag and smelling only what smell like good ingredients. Perfect sized kibbles for petite little mouths, my dogs empty bowls confirm that this is the perfect receipt for them! I receive lots of compliments on their teeth(especially for their ages) and also their coats which have a lovely shine and look incredibly healthy - I believe this to be down to the good food that they eat. The packaging was changed a couple of years ago and seems it didnt affect the recipe at all, glad it was kept the same. Thank you Royal Canin for making my dogs a happy little bunch!

Good service and competitive price

I haven't tried this purchase yet due to my Chihuahua still has leftover kibble from previous purchase which is small dog seniors +12 years. He likes it. Kibble is small, smell good even to me.. My chi is very fussy. Delivery is prompt and competitive price and variety of choices. I've been buying from this store/supplier for almost year(?).. Happy customer we are.

Great Features!

I have been buying this for my dog for quite some time now! She loves it!!! Also, she eats the Chihuahua Dry food. My only problem is that I no longer can get the product. It is not in stores nor can I order it online. I have been unable to get it for months. I am very disappointed. It is becoming harder and harder to get the dry dog food also. My dog loves the products and it's wonderfully good for her.

Nice pet food pouch

So first off I have to mention the package and sizing of the pouches are great! Individually packed and the perfect amount off food my my pup.Unfortunately though my pup didn’t really like these. He’s a super picky eater and wasn’t a fan of the texture of the food which is a bit mushy. He likes food a little chunkier that has a slight chew to it. Which is a shame. However I am also fostering a dog at the moment she she seems to love tho food! Gobbled it up when I put it down and licked the vowel clean. I was really hoping my pup would like it as I’m a huge fan of the breed specific food idea. But he did eat it begrudgingly with a little coaxing it just wasn’t he’s favorite.

This was the first time my chihuahua had tried the packed food from this brand. At first he was a little weirded out because he hadn’t seen it before. He tried it and absolutely love it. Now when he sees that I’m about to grab a little pouch that is full meat he jumps for joy. I must say these little pouches sure did make his day and mine. He’s getting spoiled by these packages and I’m sure I will be purchasing a bunch more in the future. The quality from my observation was great and the smell wasn’t too strong, in all honesty it smelled pretty good, and my pup was happy. Terrible

I have a rescue chihuahua that has had pancreatitis since the day I adopted him 2 yrs agoHe has since developed diabetes and gets insulin 2x/dayHe won't eat when he has an episode but I have gotten him to eat the canned appetite stimulantLoaf in sauce. It is nowhere 2 b found. In stores or online. Have been looking for monthsCalled Mars rep and was informed they are still carrying it but there has been "high demand."Give me a break. The ONLY food my chihuahua mix will eat!!!

I adopted darling one-eyed Molly, a chihuahua/corgi mix in Jan. 2019. She is the love of my life but has been a very picky eater since I got her. I tried a number of top rated/expensive dog foods and she would barely touch them. Then my vet told me to try Royal Canin which has this special blend just for chihuahuas. I was in SHOCK when she ate it, loved it, and has been eating it for nearly a year now. I cannot rate this highly enough and I am so happy to have found a food she loves that my vet also highly recommends. And I have been getting foods on auto delivery from Pet Flow for years and they are the best!

True Royalty

We tried other food wet and dry but this is the only dry food our Chihuahua will take and being a small breed this bags lasts ages so it's extremely worth the price. Knowing that she's eating properly and that her coat is looking so healthy and shiny that people have commented on it let's us know this is the right food for her.She eats this on its own or as a treat and gets excited when she hears the bag being lifted or the food going into her bowl.I really would recommend it for this breed especially as this will last a good while.
