Royal Canin French Bulldog Adult Dry Dog Food 3 kg

Before giving my girl this adult food she was on the puppy version. She loves this food and gets excited for mealtime. The kibble is fairly larger than the puppy version but helps slow down their feeding as anyone with a Frenchie knows they don’t tend to chew but more inhale food with this one they have to chew. My girl has been getting all the nutrients she needs and has been growing happily and healthy. We’ve not had any upset stomach’s with this food and it’s easily digestible. I’ve seen loads of bad reviews on this but I can honestly say this food is amazing and has done wonders with my 1 year old. The price is what I’d expect it to be for quality food. 9yr old frenchie just switched foods

I have an almost 9yr old French bulldog. For years I fed him fresh pet because all other expensive dry dog food gave him the runs. Over the last year his stools became too soft again and it felt like the food would go bad fast. So I switched to Farmers Dog which was great but at $175 every 3 weeks this isn’t sustainable. After reading on Reddit I found this brand had positive feedback for Frenchies. My only concern is the “by-product meal” listed on the ingredients because that’s what I’ve avoided his whole life. I’m feeding him half this food and half farmers dog but he likes this food more so now he’s not eating the farmers dog food as much. Anyway. No issues with his stools at all. Best decision ever for new adopted daughter

Okay so I have tried a few food dog options for our very picky, high maintenance adopted 3 yr old frenchie and nothing worked! Constant digestive issues like throwing up and instant poops as soon as it was eaten, which meant that she was not keeping the weight on since she was pooping so many times a day(more than norm) I am so excited to announce that thanks to this food which is made specifically for your unusual picky companion, I no longer have a skinny frenchie who poops a gazillion times a day since I tied this food! I can’t appreciate it enough! FYI my 11 yr old chihuahua approves and Also eats this food and she is looking just as amazing!

Busted Bag

I am a delivery driver and after delivering hundreds of chewy orders I decided to give it a try for myself. Royal Canin is not a cheap dog food and I was extremely upset to receive my order from Chewy with a ripped bag that was spilled all over the box. The box itself had no damage so I feel it was packed this way. I will stick to getting my pet supplies the old fashioned way, and order and pick them up myself from local businesses. I definitely recommend this dog food to anyone with a French Bulldog or any of the breed specific food from Royal Canin. However, I do not recommend Chewy.

Frenchie Dissappointed

I was so excited for my Frenchie to be able to try Royal Canin French Bulldog Adult Dry Dog Food. Unfortunately the results didn’t fair to well. I know Royal Canin is known for the way they make different bite sizes for different breed types but I must say the one for French Bulldogs Adults is quite large., at least it was for my Frenchie, he had a time chewing them up. It reminded me of a curved sized kibble made for large breed dogs or better yet Science Diets Dental Care which is huge! Great for small mixed breeds also

I have used Royal Canin products for decades. I used the Chihuahua breed dry food with great results until both my chihuahuas passed at 15+years of age in 2022 and 2023. When I adopted two small rescues last year, a Chihuahua/Fox Terrier mix and a multi-terrier mix, I reviewed all the Royal Canin dry food products for small dogs in terms of kibble size, ingredients and nutritional values. Both dogs were healthy but coming from a rescue that feeds various brands of donated food I felt their coats could have been nicer. They both now have very nice coats, very little dog odor so only get bathed every 4-5 months. The shape of this kibble encourages them to chew rather than just inhaling. Very pleased with results. Great product!

OH MY GOODNESS

Since getting my frenchie, I have tried different types of food in hopes to find something he will love. Up until about a month ago, he was having some sensitive skin and allergies and his gas was just eye watering. I was recommended this brand by a family member and figured I would do the switch. I was very skeptical on what the brand promised for the frenchie breed (less smell, less gas, etc) but after a couple days I noticed a huge difference. I truly believe they had the right idea to make the kibble a tad bit bigger since frenchies like to INHALE their food which obviously leads to a lot of gas. Not only does he like the food, but I have noticed he slows down while feeding and actually chews his food. This is a 10/10 and worth every penny.

We decided to switch him over to Orijen Original because of the amazing ingredients it's made out of. Sadly, that when he started having digestive issues and his stool wasn't runny but definetly not firm. After 2 months we switched him to Orijen Amazing Grain and that's when my poor Bleu didn't want to eat at all. After a couple of trips to the vets we concluded maybe the ingredients in orijen may be too rich so she recommended switching him back to royal canin, specifically the FrenchBulldog bag. After just 3 week on it not only is he excited for meal time but his activity level has risen and surprisingly his coat is even softer. Tailor made food for your Frenchie!

Royal Canin French Bulldog is an amazing product. This kibble is so perfect, I feel like it was custom made just for my boy! First off, the shape. It looks exactly like a cashew, but it's made that way for the frenchie to be able to pick up easily and chew. Also they explain how everything is tailor made for this specific breed. Protein content, the proper nutrition mix for their skin and digestive health. And on top of all that it must taste really good because my boy couldn't wait to get to it and gobbled it right up. I definitely recommend this food if you are a French Bulldog owner as it can definitely be difficult to get the right fit with this breed. Royal Canin does their breed research and puts out a premium product, apparently one we'll be sticking with.

The ingredients have a lot byproduct which is not good at all. by product list may include questionable parts of an animal, like gizzards or feathers. I slow tried to tried to transition the Royal canin to his regular dog food and he didn’t want to eat his food any more. if he did his poop where very runny.
