At last I've found a quality food for our two kitties. They were rescued at 6 months and after a year I still felt 1 was a little undernourished. I chose this Royal Canin Kitten Instinctive with Gravy and they could not believe their luck. They are looking far pouffier and fluffier fur wise with nice soft shiny coats and bright eyes. The 1 who was on the thinner side is now looking far less scrawny!!I don't feel dry food alone was suiting them. I feel this is reasonably priced and I only give 1 quarter of pouch each of this twice a day so 1 pouch a day between 2 of them is enough to satisfy their hunger alongside the delicious Royal Canin biscuits. This brand is amazing - they sniff at other brands even the other "posher" kinds!! Do give this a try for your ... MoreAt last I've found a quality food for our two kitties. Performance:OkQuality:okSuitability:okI’ve been ordering from flagship store since day 1. For a while i was ordering 12’s but later on would check out 36’s and even 48’s pieces or 4 boxes of RC instinctive. But this once, there’s 1 pack missing.I counted every single one just to list my cats meal plan and they have only sent me 35 pcs. I know its only 1 pack but, I have a meal plan for my cats especially RC is not cheap.I sent Royal Canin lots of messages and they have only templated replies for me. I tried for daaaaays weeks and no one talked to me about this. I don’t know if this will happen again.

My breeder recommended this for my 2 Burmillas, and suggested occasionally adding finely chopped lean red meat to it as a supplement (which one likes, the other hates). Burmillas are fussy little things - but they've consistently eaten Royal Canin Instinctive in Jelly everyday of their lives (one is 7, the other 6) and mostly clean their bowls (as clean as they get with these two anyway). They're on a 50/50 wet food/dry food diet (dry food also Royal Canin) & it helps their skin, coat & health tremendously. Both have had most of their teeth removed age 3 & 4 (breed issue) & some airborne allergies (skin, asthma) and I feel a Royal Canin diet (plus low chemical use, air purifier, HEPA vacuum - they're indoor cats) has helped stabilise their conditions & keep them off ... MoreMy breeder recommended this for my 2 Burmillas, and suggested occasionally adding finely chopped lean red meat to it as a supplement (which one likes, the other hates). So sorry we did not know 11 years ago that our VERY fussy 11 year old calico would gobble this food up! It has been such a wasteful experience finding food she would eat. Just tried Royal Canin and she loves it! She also will eat a few nibbles at a time of the dry food even though she has never wanted dry food before. She licks the wet food platter clean! Very impressed and will keep buying. The online ordering and swift delivery is absolutely fantastic from Pet Circle as well. Considering we usually waste half of the grocery store brands, Royal Canin is very economical as she will actually eat it!
I have a bengal who knows how to unwrap the plastic to get to the box to get to the pouch then will self feed and indulge on these pouches. She loves them so much she would steal sorry eat? 3 pouches over night. Absolutely loves gravy! All you need to say is'Who wants the pouch' and she will peek out from hiding'Did someone say pouch! Yeah I want the pouch' and basically start howling until I've let go of the pouch or opened one for her lol
Cookie will eat this food in stages. I rotate with the Indoor 7+ for variety, as she won't eat this solely. As she's older and has hyperthyroidism with CKD, the lower phosphorus levels keep her kidneys settled. Less litter box cleaning up. I was throwing a lot of the other brand I was using out, as she'd lick the gravy and not eat the meat. So as a result was loosing weight. I'm confident in giving her a very good brand of food which has a strong nutritional profile. Grains are not all bad, provided they are high quality, as they are in Royal Canin. Cookie is happy.
l very much enjoy these for breakfast and dinner (sometime lunch, if l make loud cry sounds like l havnt been feed in weeks). My hooman mum has bought all different types, but these are far the best. I wouldn't ask for anything else. If lm given other brands, l just leave it in the bowl uneaten. l highly recommend this food for all my furry 4-legged friends.
