I wanted grain free chicken minced cat food. I was horrified to read the ingredients from a manufacturer I thought was trustworthy. The first ingredient is pork byproducts along with a variety of other byproducts. Who knows what these byproducts are. I do not pay good money for junk food!

My two cats, who are five weeks apart in age, are drastically different in just about every way imaginable except for their love of Royal Canin food. One is vocal, outgoing, and constantly moving, and the other is quiet, cautious, takes his time, and just doesn't think being rambunctious is appropriate. Both were weaned on Royal Canin, and both have done extremely well on the kitten versions of both wet and dry food, but I didn't know how the transition to adult food would go. By the next morning, the second had had a change of heart and the two ate their new food in tandem. It's been that way twice a day ever since. I mention this only as an example of different cats having different approaches to everything, including their food. It may take some a little longer to make a change, but in this case, both came around and continue to thrive, happy and healthy. I continue to recommend the Royal Canin brand.

The price I paid so the cheapest ever by $10 a box it was very impressive. The promptness of delivery was also impressive. I have a rescue cat and she was on this food tried other brands and they gave her sloppy poos. This food is really good quality and low odour, no more sloppy poos. She loves this food as well. I recommend it highly as people comment on how healthy she looks as well as content.
