My Labrador is10 years old and we changed to this food due to arthritis that affected her hips. We didnt have any great hopes that she would be any better but my goodness, she improved immensely. I really didnt believe a different type of food would make such a difference. Before the changeover, she limped badly, especially when she got up. Now, she doesnt limp at all and is only slightly stiff in her back legs. That fact that we made a change to Royal Canin 8 made all the difference. Amazing.

My elderly German Shepherd enjoys the Royal Canin dry food range for seniors. I usually buy the medium Ageing 10+ for her, but that was out of stock. This kibble is larger and seems a bit harder, but she does get through it eventually.

My dog eats it gladly, fur is silky soft, bowel movement as it should be. The feed is well utilized and price-performance ratio is appropriate. Buy it again and again gladly.

Just started our dog on this food he is 7 and half ,thought his other food was to rich after speaking to the vet . He loves this one always wants more don't think it fills him up as much, but better in the bowel department.
My 11yo standard poodle loves this! Her gut health has improved a lot since switching from Tucker Time to this Royal Canin Maxi 8+. It is convenient and easy to use, highly digestible for older dogs and I highly recommend it.
When I changed I wasn’t really aware that the amounts would be different for my dog and he got a bit thin !! This was as much my carelessness though as any fault of manufacturers but some kind of alert on the back would have been helpful
My dog enjoys this food although when he has tummy upset we go to Royal Canin Low Fat Gastrointestinal. I will stay with Royal Canin. 🐾🐾
Have fed my Weimaraner Royal Canin since she was 8 weeks old. My vet, at the time, said " you won't have many problems while you feed her RC" and 13 years later -she's still going strong. My 8 yr old pointer is also fed the same.Excellent ordering and delivering service ( as always) from Pets at Home. 🐾
My 8 and 9 year old rescue dogs were reluctant to eat other dry foods. But they have a new lease on life and new found appetites with the ageing 8+. There’s nothing better than seeing your dogs happy!
Had my Aussie bulldog on the optimum adult and he had the worst gas ever. For a while I just assumed it was the breed, but after using this product I realised it was the food. He eats more of this and his stinky farts are no more. Definitely recommended .
