Performance:shipped within 24 hrsQuality:superb as alwaysSuitability:helped lower my dog’s creatinineI’ve lost count how many times I bought from this store. Their low low price is what pulled me in the first place, and it’s their SUPER FAST shipping that has kept me buying since. So happy to have such an accessible source for my dog’s needs. She is 18 already and was diagnosed with kidney disease, thus was prescribed a renal diet. After eating this for 1 month, repeat crea showed normal levels already. Big plus that she LOVES the stuff. Note that my dog is super picky with food, but since eating this her appetite has gone up so much. I think the formula has an appetite enhancer. Thanks seller. Til my next order (in a week or two haha)

My dog is over 14, with Kidney disease, so the vet recommended use of diet food. She is a little more selective with her food now but she does eat this. The biscuits are not too big and hard, which is good as she has had a few teeth removed. However, it is so much pricier than regular food so not as good value for money. The large 14kg bag is the best value for cost per weight. It's a shame that the bag itself is so much taller than it needs to be, using about a quarter more plastic than necessary!

Not being the dog that eats this! I can only go on her reaction. I was warned that dogs find this slightly unpalatable, and it certainly has its ups and downs with her, but eventually she does eat it, even if it has sat there all day. Occasionally I add some extra virgin olive oil to it, which seems to sugar the pill enough. Expect motions to now resemble the colour of Turmeric! But certainly the proportion and intensity has reduced which shows that it’s obviously making less use of the kidneys as designed. My dog has always binge drunk after dry food and expect that to increase considerably which is also of course a sign of kidney disease. However, her general well being has without doubt improved and placed a puppy like attitude back in her otherwise 14 year old ... MoreNot being the dog that eats this! I can only go on her reaction. Have to say the cost is pretty extreme, but that’s only because it’s a lump sum, divide it by the number of days it provides for and it is actually still very reasonable. We have it on repeat order with the company, and every time their AI system gets confused and says there has been a problem, but it always resolves it, but it’s more emails filling up a busy in box that are not necessary! It would be reassuring to know that an IT guru is working on a patch. It would be catastrophic for phantom orders to beProcessed but not produced. No human contact with the company, so no idea about customer service face to face, but certainly on-line is all good. RECOMMEND both product and company supplying

German shepherd loves this food
28 February 2024

Our 6 yr old fussy German shepherd has tried a lot of dry foods over the past 6 years from Royal canin to supercoat and hills! But she's never been keen! Now that she has the start of renal disease our vet recommended this food as a necessity! Our dog absolutely loves this food and for the first time ever we have to take note on how many cups she's having as we have never know her to eat a lot of dry food! 5 stars!!! Only weird side effect is she pops a lot more lol

It works!
21 May 2023

My dog developed renal disease after seven operations and being too long on pain killers. So bad she was on intravenous fluids for over a week to rid her body of toxins. I have to say the Royal Canin renal vet food, dry and wet, I highly recommend. My girl has been full of life and energy for nearly two years now. I understand her disease is progressive, and each day is precious, but she's enjoying life to the full. The diet is maintaining her kidney health. So I highly recommend it. Pet circle also delivers. I am remote regional, and although I'm charged freight, the food is always quick to be delivered.

Long Term Renal Management
7 August 2022

My almost 13yr old Border Collie bitch has been on this food for the successful recovery of severe acute renal failure and ongoing management of her CKD since January 2018.Due to the long term nature (she was never supposed to survive this long) of her condition, the lack of fat and protein necessitated by CKD resulted in hypoglycemia that came equally close to ending her life. This extremely delicate balance of nutritional requirements has been balanced (with oversight of my vet and regular blood testing of course) via development of a diet that includes 3 small meals per day and alternate days a very small meal based around fats and proteins where her kidney processing these nutrients are supported by a supplement (NutraCam). Also, due to the nature of the product, in the long term, the dogs skin and coat also suffers, for this I recommend the best quality flaxseed oil supplementation daily.Short term (the first 18-24mths) she responded incredibly well to this diet food exclusively, but be aware that long term it does not provide adequate nutrition to sustain a dog on it's own.If your dog develops Acute or Chronic Renal Failure I will recommend this product all day long - it saved my dog's life, so while it may be expensive when compared to normal dog food, I consider that to be extremely good value for money - you should only be feeding it in order to save your dog's life.
