When i opened the packaging the quilt had the most terrible odour, like rotten eggs. I've never bought a down and feather quilt before but after doing some research I found out that this was not normal. Even just having the quilt airing on the line for a few hours I struggled to get it back in the packaging without gagging. After reading reviews I have seen other customers with similar experiences but I wish I had of read them before purchasing so as to not waste my time. Would not recommend.

Purchased two doonas for my sons some months ago. As soon as I opened them, feathers went flying. I thought after time this would ease. Not to be. Boys bedrooms still look like they are murdering chickens every morning. Disappointed as otherwise they would be a great purchase. Clearly time doesn't heal all wounds.

Brilliant value feather duvet/doona. This is exactly what we wanted and we're stoked with the value. It fluffs up beautifully and no feathers stick through the fabric. Would definitely recommend. Great for warmer and cooler months.

Unfortunately, this product was not what I thought it was going to be. It isn't big and fluffy or luxurious. It does have a little bit of weight to it but it's flat and honestly doesn't provide much warmth. Bit guttered about it, was super excited for this.

I was looking for a heavy blanket (because I don't like light ones, I like to feel them).Great quality, exactly what I wanted.Warm, but you can cover yourself with it even when the room is quite warm.Good quality and fast delivery.I definitely recommend it.

The feathers CONSTANTLY prick me! They poke out of the blanket left and right and some of the quills are as thick as toothpicks. I don't know if it's because of the feather to down ratio, but it shouldn't be THIS bad. I've had a down quilts before with similar ratios and never ever experienced the same issues. I know it's a relatively cheap blanket, but I didn't think the ratio would matter that much.It's also incredibly loud by rustling a lot.The good things with this duvet is how warm it is. Me and my husband were sweating the first time we shared the blanket, and it has a good weight to it so it slicks around your body like a hug. I'm extremely disappointed as I thought the other 2 Doonas were a gamble as I'd never had either fillings before but have had MANY FEATHER & DOWN DOONAS of a large variety from completely Down, 50/50 & 5% Down 95% Feather Doonas & have always been happy I've always been happy with them & I Doona I replaced a 5% Down & 95% Feather Doona I had on my bed for 5-6yrs & was warm, fluffy with a good shakeing mthly & washed in our washing machine & into our clothes Dryer & it was lush, plump, fluffy & warm & snuggly!! This Doona is NONE OF THE ABOVE & IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AS ITS THE 1 I WAS 100% IN MY MIND SURE IT WAS THE SAFEST BET & yes I could of easily have instead bought a better quality 50% Down ve Feather which I nearly invested in however being a single mum on a disability pension recovering from Bowel Cancer & needing to REPLACE ALL 3 of our BEDDING NEEDS Doonas, Pillows, sheets etc I've a tight budget however the other 2 similar price bracket (Ramesses Mulberry Silk Quilt & Royal Comfort Bamboo Quilt - Cheapest but light fluffy & warm etc LOVE BOTH of those 2) were EXACTLY AS DISCRIBED & am going to buy another 1 of each as spares if I'm unable to get a refund for this MINUTE AMOUNT OF EITHER Duck Feathers/Down Quilt as it's back in its bag again after 3-4 nights use, I'll donate it!!!!EXTREMELY UNH

Shut up and take my money!!

This doona is soft and snuggly! I popped on my new cover with it and with freshly washed sheets I was in heaven. I took off a star bc cripes it stinks when you take it out. I aired it however will keep airing it till the 1700 duck feather goes away…..or reduces to 500 or so ducks!

Smells like a duck

Never realised what a duck smells like until I got this duck feather quilt. I'm guessing the duck feathers were not washed before stuffed inside. The smell is so strong I have to take it the laundry mat wash as my small washing machine can't handle it. I have yet to find out if I can get the smell of duck out or not.I can't comment on the warmth of it as the smell is unbearable for me to use and the smell stained my other blankets.The quilt itself isn't as fluffy as picture suggestsI would not recommend it.

Terrible feather loss

Used this for a month or two in teenagers room. Terrible feather loss constantly. Honestly, unless this is in a spare room or you’re willing to cope with constant feathers around the house, choose a different product. Have just purchased a replacement it’s that bad. I never go out of my way to make online reviews but honestly, feel it’s my duty to warn others!
