Royal Kludge RK84 Tri Mode 80% Hot Swappable Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Black (Blue Switch)

Excellent keyboard. It is my first and it's really responsive, looks amazing and has tons of RGB options. Big recommendation.

Bought this on Berserkeys and it works and looks great, but be careful the very last words of the entire description US LAYOUT, so you need to add a US keyboard setup to your languages or the keys don't all correspond.

Okay keyboard but only usable in hardwired mode.Bluetooth and USB options have bad latency/pairing issues. Tried using with multiple different computers and the problem persists.The deep stroke with the switches becomes annoying too.

Very nice board for the price, when pulling it apart to add some foam to the base I found this version already contains foam. Switches feel fine to me, the keycaps are very easy to remove and can be done without a switch puller. This version also contains a foam mount between the plate and PCB, which makes removing the stabilizers a bit more involved, though the keycaps and switches aren't required to be removed to do so you will need to remove the plate/PCB from the case to reach the screws underneath the PCB. The wireless transceiver has worked fine for me at a distance of roughly 90cm and with other transceivers close by. When I got this keyboard was not expecting to much, but the keyboard came with extra switches, keycap puller. Although the price is more on the higher end especially for Royal Kludge brand, overall the keyboard was great and it came in different ways to connect the keyboard and its hot- swappable.

Even though the keycaps feel a little cheap, this keyboard does provide a really pleasant typing experience. It is a definite step up from any laptop keyboard which I've used but not quite as solid feeling and elegant as my Ducky Shine 3 (which to be fair cost nearly twice as much). Also, it's nice to report that I've had no problems bluetooth pairing this keyboard to any device so far - I have connected it to a Windows laptop, Linux (Kubuntu) laptop, and my Android phone with no dramas. Not that there should be problems but it's always nice when something works as advertised. And lastly, pressing FN+Winkey will enable/disable the Windows key, which is nice if you want to use this keyboard to play games and don't want to accidentally press the Winkey.The RK Keyboard software allows you to create custom RGB lighting patterns and record some macros. I can't really comment on how good this is because I don't have a use for either. Note for anyone getting this keyboard - it MUST be connected to your computer with a USB-C cable to be recognised by the RK Keyboard software.The only flaw with this keyboard is that there is no convenient way to tell if it's charged. For example, it would be convenient if you could press a key combination and it lights up the keys 1-6 to indicate 60% charge remaining or something similar, but there isn't. The only way I've found is to look at the bluetooth devices in the Windows (or Android) settings - it shows a battery capacity percentage. That all said, I have used this keyboard (bluetooth connection, back-lighting off) fairly heavily for 14 hours per day for 4 days straight without charging it, so the claim that a charge will last a week is not outrageous.Overall, a solid keyboard for typing on. Probably good for gaming too but I would recommend softer (red or yellow) switches if that's going to be your main use.

I love all the light color, pattern, and speed options. I was able to take it apart and put it together without trouble. I only use wired mode so I'm not sure about the Bluetooth and USB receiver. Worth the buy.

I am really happy with this purchase. Keyboard rocks and the Berserkeys team were awesome.

Performance:It’s good like any other royal kludge.Best Feature:instead of purchasing additional separate switches  that would offer me a lot of extra switches that I believe I don’t need, I get to choose the switches I want for my keyboard.Product Quality:Like any other royal kludge, this is more valuable than it’s asking price, suitable for beginners, lovely, and enticing. I hope I won’t regret purchasing this.
