Amazing Classic

These chips are so good I recommend buying 2 big bags of these because you are going to finish them so quickly, and are going to want more. I bought a bag of these because my friend told me to and when I had that first bite, I instantly fell in love with these cheesy, sour creamy heavens of chips. I now use these chips in almost every savory meal I make. Soup, sandwiches, meatloaf, almost anything. I don´t use it for sweets however, for it would taste bad. It is amazing how such small chips could taste so heavenly. 5 stars.

Bad bag of Ruffles cheddar and sour cream

I bought a bag of my favorite ruffles 2 days ago and OMG they suck! I know how they are suppose to taste in this bag taste so gross and I know I shouldn’t complain about the cost but they’re seven dollars a bag 6.99 one of my favorite chips to enjoy now gone, and after reading the reviews and this, I don’t feel crazy, thinking something was wrong with these chips. Ruffles you got to do better. Something is up with the manufacturing productivity whatever you wanna call it but you could send me or all of us new bags that actually taste like the cheddar sour cream. These have a very weird taste to them. Best Chips Ever Created

The jalapeno lime Ruffles are seriously the absolute best chips ever created! They are my forever favorite chips! I hope Ruffles decides to make it a permanent flavor consistantly available and available in more stores because I have only been able to find them in 2 stores in my city and not consistantly. Very frustrating. I have offered them to friends and family who all have the same reaction....WOW! These are so good! But I have to buy a seperate bag if I am sharing because I need my own bag to myself and one in the secret stash as well. These chips should be certified as the best chips. Thank you for making them and I can only hope to thank you of their staying cause I am angry at the thought of them not being around anymore.

CHIP RIP OFF

So I bought this bag of cheddar ruffles for girlfriend and needless to say I was very disappointed. Upon opening the bag she was so excited to dive hand first into her favorite chip, but when she opened the bag the disappointment set in. The bag was way bigger than the amount of chips in it and that's no good for anyone! Please use this as a reference for future emails of hangry wives and girlfriends getting ripped off because the amount of chips in the bag don't match the size. Crisp - Fresh - No Waste, Always Tasty

They came in a sturdy box with little to no breakage. These bags are perfect for everyday use. We use them with lunches, as snacks, with dip (my favorite reason and actually why I purchased them individually) . When you get tired of day old soggy chips or wasting bag after bag of chips because they were not all eaten when you opened the bag or if you just want the crisp crunch of fresh potato chips this box of individual bags is for you. This is August, I purchased them early this month so I have until October 10th for optimal flavor and crunch. 60 days. That’s a good deal!!I also don’t overeat them because I don’t want them to get stale. Greasy and hard to chew texture

The texture of these has changed within the last year or so. I'm not sure WHEN date-wise because I don't buy them every day. They're super greasy, they don't have the crunch/snap they once did, and they're very hard. We have switched to Wavy Lay's - much better in taste and texture. Ruffles needs to fix the thickness/hardness of the chips Z& back like they were originally. Also - they come crumbled with twice or 3x fried - those pieces of will make you barf from the grease on your tongue/roof of your mouth. Don't eat the extra fried bits!! Sometimes those pieces aren't all the way down in the bag, so look before biting.

Love these but can't have MSG!

Why is MSG used in anything? So stupid to use a chemical that harms the central nervous system! So, I changed to Lay's Sour Cream & Onion chips and then some idiot management changed the seasoning & ruined them. They are so salty they are inedible! Bad on both of these. So, I'm sticking to the Simply line when I can find it. I will say that when you use sea salt you need to use less cause it is saltier. I'm a salt lover btw and can take a pretty heavy dose. Frito Lay needs some new leadership in Quality Control because there obviously is none! The Ruffles are only slightly too salty and tastes great but it's been awhile since I had them because of the MSG. Wishing you will take it out! Sadly off to search for another brand of Sour Cream & onion chip.

Still Good 2 Go

I’ve purchased this item twice this year and multiple times last year and this is the first time there has been a problem with the shipment.One of the bags popped in the box and opened, one bag was stuck on the tape, but that was no big deal. 1/40 bags damaged is better than it could have been. I know that businesses are trying to leave a smaller footprint, but it may be the box needs to be a little bit bigger so the bags will not pop and some chips get broken and we end up with a bag full of crumbs.Other than this issue, I would recommend the items and will continue purchasing them. The chips are fresh and there are multiple packages of the flavored chips, so you’re not stuck with a majority of the original flavor.
