I have recommended this harness already quite a few times.Ruby wasn't a fan to begin with. But don't be discouraged. Dogs aren't used to a long harness and need a little minute to get used to it. We were advised to put it on when she was excited to go out. So between the front gate and the car we popped it on. Within one outting she was comfy and happy. The handle gave me a good way to help her learn the stairs after becoming a front amp at 8.5years old.We like that it just slips over her head and buckles up. No worries about paws going through. Amazing harness

We adopted a greyhound 2 months ago who is a bit anxious when our and about on walks. If he sees another dog or people he will often pause and try to back up and risking come out of his collar and other harnesses we have tried. We did some research and came across the webmaster. It has been amazing. He can’t get out of it by accident. And both he and I feel so much more confident on walks with it on. If he gets a bit scared I just reassure him and use the handle to encourage him to walk and he does. He is getting more and more confident every time we go out.Amazing harness and highly recommend.

Great Harness

This is our second time buying the Webmaster for our 2 dogs. The first set that we purchased for our dogs lasted about eight years and are actually still usable, but are just beginning to look shabby now, and that is with daily use, and washing with the washing machine and hang drying probably once a month. Our dogs were in between sizes so based on the comments we elected for the smaller of the two sizes and it worked out perfectly. Previously, we had the gray (which we really liked), but we elected for the orange this time, as we hike year round through hunting season. The orange stands out and looks great and the new harnesses looks super durable. Once again we are very satisfied customers. Great quality product, highly recommend

I recently adopted a 3 legged Labrador. I had concerns on which harness product was best but after lots of research I was recommended Ruffwear webmaster.I mainly bought this as I wanted a harness that wouldn’t slip around whilst my dog walked (as not secured by both front legs) and also to help with stairs in our house - which she hasn’t needed, as she ran up and down them straight away!!She is missing her front right leg, so it’s an easy slip over the head and buckle up. If some one is reading this with a front LEFT leg missing, then you would need to lift their right leg into the harness which would make them unbalanced. Great supportive harness

Love this harness I almost didn’t buy! It is a pretty long harness with the 3rd strap going far back. For that reason, it’s better to size down if unsure, a proper fit is important.The harness is highly adjustable, which we love, and fits perfectly. I can actually lift my entire dog in it! It’s a great option to assist a dog with mobility issues. I like that the chest panel is minimal and there’s more coverage for the back - for my dog, who suffered burns at the hands of a human and is permanently scarred, it is sun protection in summer. I love the colors I got and would buy an additional harness if there were more options!

Now it’s back to daily walks! Before these, I couldn’t walk the dogs due to their scary escaping.

The harnesses have been fantastic as my dogs backed out and escaped from all other designs. The dogs are always happy to have them put on, they look comfortable wearing them.The only suggestion I have is I wondered if the XS size harness should have a longer strap at the back/tail end. The small one I got for my other dog seems to have a proportionally longer back strap which gives more flexibility with fit. My dog with the small one is stockier and has a rounder belly and has lots of spare strap whereas the xs one is for my slim terrier dog with a poodle type slender physique. The back strap doesnt have much spare strap. I imagine slender dogs would need the xs size and a longer strap would be better for more flexible sizing. Ruffwear - Web Master Harness *Black & White Friday Event* Purple Rain / M

So far, so good! Slight issue with the first harness dispatched due to manufacturing flaw in the fabric causing a split. However the replacement has been (thus far) fantastic. Really good quality. It was easy to fit on my border collie. It prevents pulling and enables me to be in control without impinging freedom. Would advise a light harness for warmer weather - as experienced this summer in UK.

2 years ago I bought a Ruffwear Web Master Harness size XXS for my Jack Russel Chihuahua mix which fitted him perfectly when adjusted to its maximum size. He's worn the harness every day and walked between 6 and 10 miles 7 days a week, mostly off-leash, through bramble bushes, getting covered in mud and cow poo and sheep poo. My vet said he was a bit on the thin side so I increased his rations and alas, the 2 year old XXS harness is now too tight on his belly, hence I bought the next size up. The old harness is still in perfect condition despite having had a hard life and numerous hand washes. A very good harness for my Whippet puppy. He is 4.5m old but on the larger side. He will soon grow out of XS. However, to adjust the straps when the harness is on is impossible so I have to take it off, adjust (which is still not that easy when off) and then try to get it back on to the puppy who is now not amused and wants no more to do with the harness. When I finally have to adjust it all, he is happy to wear it and I feel that he is safely strapped in and comfortable with it on. But now the winter is here and some days he needs to wear a jumper and others not, so I have to re-adjust the straps again.....Would have been so much easier if I could do it when he wears it. We wanted a comfortable, padded harness with a handle to assist her on stairs, in/out of the car, on/off the couch, redirect around obstacles etc. The Webmaster fits her well, is sturdy and easy to adjust, and she doesn't seem to mind wearing it. It has proven very helpful the few weeks we have been using it. The length of the harness is what makes it stand out from any other type I saw in pet stores. I could lift her safely if need be.
