Retro design is fun and has an authentic feel. Its not top of the range chrome or paint quality but for the price its really excellent. Everyone arriving in our kitchen comments on how nice it looks. We have the matching four-slice toaster too. They look fabulous as a duo.

Have been a fan of Russell Hobbs kettles for a while now, I appreciate that it is not that heavy as the last one I had. The top is harder to open but I see it as a good security rather than a problem. Would buy again!
My last kettle broke after less than a year, so I wanted something that was a bit more solidly made, and I think this fits the bill.It's worth noting that there is no button to open the lid, you just have to pull it off, and it is a bit stiff. The spout is really small, so you pretty much always have to open the lid to fill it up. I don't mind this, but it may be a problem for some people.Also, I like that the kettle has an all-metal body. There is a little plastic thing inside to show the level of 1,2 and 3 cups, which I think is unnecessary, and I would rather not have the plastic part in the boiling water.
Absolutely love this kettle. It is our second Retro Kettle. The first one has just given up the ghost after 4 years constant use. So glad it was still available to buy.
Its the first day, I've just opened it. Bought it must be small when i saw the box, but when i opened it, it's massive. Really nice looking, nice shape. Boiled quickly, poured nicely. Can boil 1,2 or 3 cups rapidly. I love it. Never been excited by a kettle before. Looks beautiful in my kitchen too.

This kettle ticks all the boxes for me, good size for making lots of cups of tea, coffee etc, handle easy grip, handy temperature gauge, great retro style, just right for my retro kitchen, this is my second Russell Hobbs retro kettle , first has lasted since 2016, and still okay, bought second just in case as it was at a good price.
Had this kettle before (second hand black version) which had to be replaced so happily ordered the same model this time in cream. As a tea drinker, and use hot water for cooking, the temperature gauge is useful to me. Love it, looks great!
