This kettle is attractive looking, sturdy and easy to use. It lights up (blue) when switched on and light goes off when the water has boiled. The water boils very quickly. It is easy to fill tho have to remove the lid to do that, compared to some where it can be filled via the spout. Due to it being glass, the exterior of the kettle is hot to touch once water is boiled, so care to be taken when using. The spout is quite wide so care to be taken on pouring - worth noting this when considering purchase. I really like the sturdiness of this kettle and the way it looks, the quick boil time is also a plus. I would definitely recommend.

I also noted that I was often managing to spill water when pouring, water didn't flow very well from the spout. That's what I now own, it's whisper quiet compared to this and I'm sure it can withstand a slight tap without showering you in broken glass and scalding hot water

I recently moved house and decided that I would like all new kitchen appliances and I was on the look out for a new kettle and I came across this one. What attracted me straight away was that it lights up blue so it fits in with everything else in my kitchen. The instruction's are good and clear - for instance I was ready to use straight away but the instructions tell you to boil the kettle twice before use to get rid of any manufacturing dust. This kettle has a boil dry protection - this means - if your kettle boils dry then a safety cut out device will automatically switch it off - How cool is that!!! The instructions also tells you how to descale the kettle and this should be done monthly. I highly recommend this kettle.

I can’t help but smile every time I switch it on and it glows electric blue. It’s quiet and boils quickly. I love that it’s glass and I can see exactly how much water is bubbling away. The lid comes fully off so it’s easy to fill. I just need to make sure I keep on top of any hard water build up so it stays looking good. Great kettle, fantastic value, would recommend :)
A lovely looking kettle. The transparent view with the blue lighting give the kettle an air of sophistication. Boils 1 cup very quickly.Cons: the spout is on the larger side, so pours about 3cm wide and can spill if one is not careful. The lid could have been designed to flip rather than lift. Lastly, it has a rubber seal on the lid - is it durable. Only time will if this seal will be able to endure/survive the boiling water and retains its elasticity.Hence 4 stars
This is the second time I’ve owned this kettle. It looks sophisticated, smart and does the job. My most recent kettle has a really bad habit of just turning itself off for no reason mid-boil. So this kettle has most of the plus points that you need with a kettle. It has attractive blue light, a fast boil and makes a good cuppa. It also does a great job with its 1 cup boil, a energy & money saver.3 negatives though:1. It’s advertised as a “glass kettle,” it actually is glass, so keep that in mind as you put it in its holder2. It’s a little noisy3. The pouring spout isn’t designed well, so you need to remove the lid each time to fill it

But oh boy, I was wrong!Everything about this kettle is amazing,Super stylish, looks amazing, it doesn't have a super loud boil either so making a cuppa without risking waking the kids up is perfect.Easy to open pull off lid, and it's wide enough to fit my hand inside when it needs a good scrub!The blue light when it's turned on is just another feature that makes it look great!Would absolutely recommend. Already have had compliments on it from family members
Works well and nice to see the water level well, which was the principal reason for buying it. So many kettle with water level gauges become unreadable after some use. Turns out it’s very thin glass and very easy to break. Ours only lasted a week before breaking. Not as robust even as a normal say Boden Pyrex cafetiere pot.Spout is too wide too. Also hard to fill as the lid does not have the usual lever opening mechanism.Avoid. Try a transparent plastic bodied one instead.
Bought this kettle as a replacement as old faithful had finally given up and the first thing I noticed is the volume difference, as a direct comparison to my previous kettle this thing sounds like a jet engine (I live in a 1 bed flat so cannot escape it), the previous one was virtually silent out of the box and only got louder when it started to scale up.The "steam tube" does appear to do its job quite well but can see it becoming just another place for limescale to build up, I do use filtered water in an attempt to at least slow down the build up but it will happen.The lid is also a bit of an annoyance in that it has to be fully lifted out rather than have a flip-top.On the plus side, it looks good and is very quick to boil but as a direct comparison to my ... I bought this kettle a few weeks ago. I have been using Russell Hobbs kettles for over 20 years. This is a lovely looking kettle but it's super loud when boiling, and it's not rapid boil as it says - it takes ages to boil!I'm very disappointed in this kettle. The spout inside the kettle also makes a ping noise at times which is worrying. I don't think this kettle is sturdy or will last very long.
