I have had the toaster for a week and a half and I’m in love! I have tried both frozen and regular bread - both perfectly toasted. The frost function is good.Visually beautiful toaster that works superbly. The stainless steel gradient colour change is modern and sophisticated.Having a 4 slice toaster is fantastic- I can’t believe I haven’t had a 4 slice toaster before. It’s so convenient for more than one person.

First off, this is a BEAUTIFUL toaster. We are currently in a rental awaiting the completion of our home build, and the colour of this toaster goes beautifully with both our rental kitchen colour scheme and the kitchen colour scheme of our new home. It is very sleek, whilst also being very functional. We previously had a Morphy Richards four-slice toaster that was very similar to the Russell Hobbs Midnight four-slice toaster, however I found that the Russell Hobbs toaster seems to toast the bread much more evenly. The controls are very simple to use, and I found it easy to remove the crumb tray for cleaning. The size was comparable to my previous toaster and fit well on our bench. We spent a lot of money on our previous toaster. I was annoyed that it didn’t go the distance. Got the Russel Hobbs and my teenagers announced that it was the “best toaster ever”. Teenagers are a tough crowd so a compliment from them is gold !! Fast and cooks evenly. That’s all you actually want from a toaster ! We were so impressed we went and bought the RH sandwich press as well !

First of all I really love the design of the toaster, it is very elegant and the colours are just fabulous. We are a family of five, therefore it’s essential for us to have a 4 slice toaster, so that there is enough toast going around for the whole family. The different settings are very precise, which makes it easy for everyone to choose the right amount of temperature. I’ve also tried the defrost and reheat function of the toaster and they all worked to my complete satisfaction. It definitely adds a very stylish look to my kitchen and is a welcomed addition.
The toaster had amazing functionality with the ability to cook two different sets of breads at the same time in differing settings. Eg two crumpets cooking on high on one side while my toddlers roast gets slightly warm on the other side with its own dial settings. The new crumb release makes it easy to clean but as it is a button/slide spring open mechanism it has randomly opened when I’ve slid the toaster along the bench. (Think I still prefer the old trays built in). Takes thin slices of bread as well as large thick cuts of raisin toast easily and holds them in place to ensure even cooking.
I am loving the Russell Hobbs Midnight 4 Slice Toaster. It looks slick and stylish in our kitchen and is very easy to use. The elements toast consistently across the 4 slots and the warming function works to perfection when I get distracted making coffee. Different breads toast differently on the same settings but this is a common theme among toasters. A 4 slice toaster, while big on our limited bench place, is just the right size for our family! When the time comes I will replace this toaster with the latest model from Russell Hobbs.
I purchased this toaster and the matching kettle just under a year ago. It has been really good up until the other week. When one cycle is done the right side won’t go back down or turn on. The left side still works but I purchased a 4 slice toaster for a reason. Even though both sides are on the same setting, the right side is a lot faster and doesn’t toast half as much compared to the left. Not impressed
This toaster not only has a modern sleek look which fits right in with my kitchen, it also works as well as is promised!Easy to use and doesnt burn everything like my previous toaster, I managed to cook the full range of toast my fussy family likes, from my youngest who likes hardly done toast to my eldest who likes her toast extra crunchy. We used it for crumpets too which were toasted to perfection. I would definitely recommend this toaster and am looking to purchase one for the staff room at the hospital where I work. Us nurses love grabbing a couple of slices of toast inbetween tasks, especially with a toaster that is super quick
The Russell Hobbs Midnight Ombre Stainless Steel 4 Slice Toaster is a very attractive appliance to have in your kitchen. The Ombre colour looks really good and the buttons and levers are all very stylish too. This toaster is not only stylish, but also very practical, with room for 4 slices which can be used 2 at a time, with different settings if desired. It has both a defrost and reheat setting too. The toast can be ejected at any time with the push of a button, and the levers are able to be lifted higher for easy removal of the slices. All in all, a very nice piece of equipment in any kitchen.
Tried to find the last cheap looking 4 slice toaster, this was it unfortunately it is wasn't worth buying. One side toasts differently to the other side even in the same level setting. Incredibly flimsy, the crumbs trays require you to upturn the whole thing to empty. My Bellini one was far better and was going great even after 6 years but I needed a new kettle and got the matching toaster and the kettle is just as flimsy.
