Works perfectly however I also bought the "matching" (grey/charcoal) toaster but the colour is different.I didn't notice this in store and I think that is because the toaster and kettle weren't actually displayed side by side and maybe the fluorescent lighting, whereas they are displayed on my bench top, in full sun and it's very noticeable. Not a huge deal but I would have chosen a different colour had I known they were actually different shades of grey.

We got the matching toaster and they look great together. The only thing I would change is the very plasticity black handle. It it was a nice soft touch rubber it would be 10/10. The plastic feels a bit cheap but you can't tell by looking at it.

Bought this as had Russel Hobbs Kettles for many years a decade or so ago. This one is attractive and looks good, performs well, was very quiet at first but now getting more noisy, only had it for a couple of weeks. Works well and is easy to use and pour, my only comment is that although the water level gauge is under the handle, it is cloudy so not as easy as I thought it would be to see how much water is in the kettle. Pleased with it though and very good and nice looking for the price.
Have had this for a few weeks now and am pleased with it, looks good and matches my Kitchen Aid toaster but a lot cheaper than a matching kettle. Easy to fill, easy to lift and sits comfortably, my only query is why the window to show you how full the kettle is has to be opaque as makes it more difficult to see although I am getting used to it now.
Purchased kettle with matching toaster. Kettle does the job, no bells and whistles, it has a volume indicator, it doesnt make a noise/ or beep when it has boiled, just clicks off. It might be a bit loud for some people but its not too bad. Boils fairly quickly but again it depends on how much water youve put in. Overall happy with my purchase and the colour matches my kitchen.
I love my Russell Hobbs kettle. I had an old one that lasted for years, but it eventually died and I had to get a new one. My new Russell Hobbs is very impressive in style and functionality, easy to fill, easy to pour, and looks very striking on my kitchen bench.
This kettle maintains an original design of the handle being on top of the body of the kettle. This feature ensures ease of lifting and pouring for all users as the weight distribution is even and therefore it is not as heavy as the current trend of most brands for a handle on the side of the kettle. This feature is particularly important for general use of a kettle full of hot water for all users.The Good Guys were the only supplier of this particular kettle at the time of purchase.
It's a kettle and it boils water fine. It seems slightly faster and marginally quieter than our previous kettle but what I like best is the handle. The handle over the top makes it much easier to hold while filling up from the tap and doesn't put pressure on your wrist like the handles on the side do. Also because it is a bit more squat it fits under the kitchen tap better. I also like the look of this kettle.
The kettle does its job well. I bought it to give my kitchen a Hampton style and it did match the theme. Its definitely well made and looks like will last long. Bit on the heavier side. I found that if we tip over too much it tends to spill which i think is normal given the pop off lid. Given the handle at top might be difficult to clean, but I find all kettles not so easy to clean. However if we use baking soda and boiled water, it keeps clean.
